Projects - Bulk update staff charge out rate
The ability to bulk update staff charge out rates in Project Tasks. Running many projects and therefore many many in progress tasks. Needing to duplicate a task and create a new charge rate is both tedious and cumbersome. Unless you export to excel and manually change data, you are unable to get an accurate snap shot of the financial status of the project as charge out rates are outdated. Currently when exporting invoices, I am needing to individually update staff rates to reflect the current times.

When you enter expenses under projects, a date is required. We would like that date to appear on the invoices.

Xero Projects: Profitability dashboard to show amounts inclusive of GST
The profitability dashboard in Xero projects should have the option to show amounts inclusive or exclusive of GST for bills and invoices.

Projects - Create Spend Money from a Project expense
When adding a actual expense within a project it should open a spend money transaction in Xero and have the ability to save photo of the receipt as normal spend money. Or alternative within the XERO app be able to select a project when inputing a receipt, the current setup is double handeling because you purchase somthing and you have to enter it in xero then in the project.

Projects - Assign multiple tasks to employees
In the last week the ability to add multiple tasks to new employees has been taken away, you can still add all jobs but without the ability to add all tasks or some as well that feature is now useless.
please can you tell me why this has been removed and bring it back asap. I have staff unable to complete time sheets at the moment.

Projects - quote for a number of visits a year - NOT time specific visits.
In Projects I would like the option to create a quote, track and invoice my client where the charge is per "session" Currently Tasks are either fixed price (which does not allow me to quote for a quantity of the same item over the course fo the project) or they are hourly based and my client does not wish the time spent to be shown on the quote or invoice. Projects - Invoice multiple expenses on the same line
I want to be able to group/merge multiple expenses being on-billed into one line on an invoice, even if they're not a tracked expense.
For example, if a contracting company has billed for a fortnight of the contractor's work, but has separated that into two lines, each dealing with one week, on their bill, then the draft that is created when they e-invoice me will have two lines. Xero Projects - Standard mark-up on materials
In Xero projects we would like to add standard mark-up to materials. We are currently adding markup to each individual expense item added which is time consuming.

Project report - Include account name and account code
Please enable assigning manual journals to projects and for project reports to also include the account name / account code.
The benefits from using tracking categories far outweigh that of Xero project if features like manual journal and account transactions report is not able to reflect or is not consistent with the use of Xero projects.
Please also consider producing a warning if project name is being duplicated. Another thing that should be critically considered is to include projects under the Find & Recode feature.

This isn’t something we have roadmapped atm, but our product team appreciate the pain points shared and this may be something we dive into deeper in the long term.

Project - Feature to use a Task to add cost variations
The ability to add a Project (Revenue) Variation would be a huge help.
If one can add a project (cost) variation using a Task, adding a Revenue variation should be achievable in Xero3 votes -

Ability to set reminders/notifications to raise next invoice in Xero Projects
When raising the quote, which details the scheduled dates that the customer will be invoiced, it would be useful if you could set a reminder/notification on the project to tell you when to prepare and send the next invoice out.

Projects: Allocate to projects when bulk importing invoices
The Xero bulk invoice import template makes provision to allow for the population of data into the available tracking categories that would correspond to same inside Xero. However, is it possible to do same with a project? Xero have since confirmed it is not possible to include project allocations when importing invoices.
We have a high frequent need to import bulk lines of data each representing individual invoices, and we wish to use Xero projects, but need to be able to allocate the bulk upload of these invoices to the applicable projects inside Xero.

Project - Import manual journal into Project
I am needing to import my payroll expenses from another payroll platform in the form of a manual journal. I need those payroll expenses to be tracked by project. It would be handy to be able to have a column for projects instead of a tracking category.
