NZ tax - Run an exportable report on outstanding & mismatched transfers/refunds
Would be very beneficial to be able to run a report listing all clients who have outstanding transfers and refunds for a period (and export it). We need to be proactive and contact the IRD before they refund the client instead of actioning a transfer as requested. In APS we could pick up any mismatch early and were able to contact the IRD or the client and rectify quickly.

This is for NZ tax but could work across all countries. In Tax Payments a field that shows the tax expected per the tax returns, vs the amount due as imported from IRD.
Often, especially around April/May, we get clients paying provisional tax against prior year income tax and vice versa.
The only way to be sure we are sending correct tax letters is to check every tax payment in XPM against the tax return we filed. Multiple times a year we find payments have gone to the wrong place, so the tax letter creates incorrectly, we then have to do a transfer in IRD and correct the letter.
Some kind of exceptions report, or another column under Tax Payments, which would quickly highlight those who don't match, would be incredibly useful.
Currently rely on old fashioned printing the payments page of the tax return when we file it, and then go through the ringbinder before approving any tax letters -

Report would be great- but also this would be good as another tab in tax - to save running the report the team could just work off a live list

Need to be able to export the data or run a Report on the data for the Tax/Statements/Transfers tab screen.
OR, add the ability to filter in the screen for the Return State column so that it is possible to view only Filed state and higher. -

For tax returns prepared after a provisional tax date has passed and the client has a refund from the prior year, we need to be able to transfer the refund at the effective date within the tax return. If IRD do not action this then a mismatch needs to trigger an alert.
