Contacts - View balance of outstanding amount in multi currency
I would like to have having ability to quickly see the outstanding amount in the currency it was originally invoiced (like USD or EUR) directly from contacts dashboard, without having to navigate through detailed reports and apply multiple filters. This would save a lot of time.

A running total would be helpful to avoid having to go back to the Opening Balance to be able to see the transactions for an individual.

An option to switch between the base currency and the billing currency. This will provide a view of the outstanding amount to be paid in the selected currency.

Overpayments on a supplier on the front screen only show the original amount overpaid not what's left to use up.
On an invoice you show what's o/s under 'Due' if its part paid, can you not do the same with overpayments?
Currently you have to click on the overpayment to see how much is already allocated & what's left. -

It’s the only thing I have missed since moving from Quickbooks to Xero. It does not give a total at the bottom of the columns ‘Paid, Due & Total’ in the local currency of the supplier. I find this really frustrating having to run a report each time, or adding up the amounts manually. Otherwise Xero is perfect for our Villa Rental Company

Within the contact screen and when looking at ALL transactions it shows you an overall balance owing to you and owed by you on the left hand side of the screen. If the various transactions that make up those balances are in multiple currencies, is there a way to see totals outstanding per currency so maybe under the overall balance in base base currency it shows how much of that is EUR for example?
