Contacts - Include Contact ID in CSV Export
FINTECH requires Xero’s Contact ID for integration, but the Contact ID isn’t included in the contact export. They must be manually copied from the URL, which is slow and error prone.

Hi Marcia thanks for raising this here, we can understand how including the contact ID would be a great addition to the export feature in Contacts.

We also were surprised to see that this isn't an option to export as it's required for importing invoices through the API. We are setting up a newly migrated set of accounts and are dreading the manual URL method of copy/paste to transfer all of these codes into our operations database to automate contact creation and invoicing.

Yes, this is very important. With the contact ID, this will enable us to edit Contact Names in bulk AND easily match Xero contacts with our CRM contacts. Please make this available ASAP!!!
