Canada - T4A reporting
In Canada we need to file T4A slips for contractors. We can create a group of suppliers/contacts who would need a T4A, and we can create saved custom reports for the transaction lists, and we can add all their details to the contact, but we can't combine all this info into one report. It would be great if we could have a report that let us see both the amounts paid to a contractor AND their contact details in one report that we can then use to prepare the slips. Even better would be an actual workflow that we could push the data into TaxCycle for the actual slip creation and filing, but I'd settle for a report!
Columns in a summary report I'd want to see would be:
- Contractor name
- SIN/BN (with some kind of data protection here)
- Net paid
- Tax paid
- Total paid
- Postal address
- Email address
I'd then want to be able to drill down into a transaction listing for each contractor where we can see the account (to identify expense reimbursements). I'd also want to be able to toggle between cash/accrual totals.
