  1. Give a way to run the 1099 report so it can be saved as a pdf AND saved to "Published" reports. Bonus points if it can be included in advisor reporting.

  2. Hi All, As we are based in Northern Ireland we have a lot of clients that purchase from both sides of the boarder, and are required to submit intrastat declarations on a monthly basis, however unlike Sage, this information can not be stored in Xero and then exported to submit to HMRC.

    It would make reporting this information so much easier.

  3. Currently the report's filters only available to filter thing that " contain " in the respective categories. Can you please also include the option "do not contain" - so that we could produce report to omit things that we would not wish to include. Thank you

  4. We would like to be able to capture non-financial (eg head count) and statistical numbers (eg Order Book) in Xero and add it into Xero reports alongside the existing financial information for management reporting
    Currently it seems that accounts that are added automatically appear in the Chart Of Accounts.
    Could another Account Type be created that allows memo accounts to be created outside the CoA?

  5. To be able to attach documents (images / PDF ) to published reports.
    For example Bank Statements to Bank Reconciliation reports. Signed copies of Debtors / Creditors ledgers etc

  7. We recently converted from Quickbooks Desktop and are trying to reproduce a "Sales by Customer" Report that sorts descending by gross invoice amount but groups the contacts within the contact group together. In Xero, I cannot figure out a way to accomplish this.

  8. Hi

    I would like a feature in the short term cash flow where when a repeated manual entry transaction is made that you can edit only one instance like a repeated meeting in outlook.
    An example is that i have made a regular Money In transaction yet i cannot remove a single instance when the actual invoice is created and i am overstating incoming revenue.

  10. Management Report: Be able to save individual reports in the management report as custom reports. Currently only the pack can be saved as a custom report. If I have edited the profit and loss I cannot save this specific report to be used in other management packs.

  11. Currently Xero pulls data from the connected ledger into Xero tax – it’s great! But its pulls the account name, when we’re often only changing the reporting name so as not to mess with a clients system.
    Would be beneficial if Xero tax pulled the reporting name rather than the account name through for linked accounts. Would make things more consistent between financials & tax return.

  12. Ability to show opening stock & closing stock closing amounts in the P&L on a monthly, quarterly etc basis.

    A function to allow to pick a Balance Sheet code or P&L code for stock and specify what balance to report in the P&L or trading account. ie. when running May 2023 monthly reports, the ability to specify that the opening stock is the stock on hand balance at 30 April 2023 and the closing stock is the stock on hand balance at 31 May 2023.

    Hi Charlotte, sorry we haven't responded to your idea sooner. Appreciate your screenshot and raising this with us. I'd recommend this is something our Xero Support team take a deeper look into with you. If you can raise a case with them through Xero Central they have tools to be able to escalate this with our product team if not working as it should.

  14. Is it possible to run reports and have the notes section as an additional column option? As currently have to click into each individual invoices to see the note

    Currently, you can include an Exchange rate note in the Trial Balance report, however it's not possible to run this report in another currency.

    We don't have any plans for extending the reports that can be run in a foreign currency atm, but it'll be good to get an idea of the interest for this here and we can share if there is any change.

  16. Would like to be able to find and recode transactions in bulk or have a report somehwere, where we can search the "include Adjustment to Tax" amount on any transactions. There is currently no way to find transactions that have this and to correct we have to find the batch payment, undo, edit the invoice, approve and re-batch. Not ideal.

    This isn't something we have planned at present but will get a sense of the appetite here and let you know if there's any change. 

  19. In the Basic Account Transactions Report (Common Format Bank Account Transactions) Can you please add the Reconciliation Status for each Bank Transaction. Both as a field and a filter.

  20. In response to the "Custom Report - Update-able date column" idea (now closed), you recently added the option to 'Follow report date range' so your custom date columns will automatically update based on the date you run the report for.
    Why (on earth!) is this not the default behaviour? This is what I thought should be happening and have spent ages, included a support session, trying to sort out the implication of it not working as expected. The column date should normally reflect the report date, surely.
