Activity Statements - Export Sorted Transactions
Activity statement line items can now be sorted in the Activity Statement report in Xero, which is great to be able to review transactions by Account Name, to group similar transactions. However, transactions do not keep this order when exported to CSV or PDF. If manually sorted by the user in the Activity Statement report, the exported report should keep the same sorting preferences.

AU Tax - Withholding tax on interest income for foreign resident entities
Create a tax code/rate which we can apply to interest income to withhold 10% tax for foreign resident entities and this amount is automatically populated to the Activity Statement at item W3.

UK VAT - View multiple unsubmitted VAT returns
We should be able to prepare and view future VAT returns where there are multiple unsubmitted returns. Ie. able to prepare multiple VAT returns for client approval at once. Currently, they have to be prepared and submitted before the next quarter's return is visible.

In the mean time, you may wish to use the “Looking to see VAT transactions for your own date range” option to run off reports for each return period, and then calculate the VAT from this report.

VAT Return report - Transactions not included
A report showing a summary of transactions not yet included in a VAT return, particularily for late claims

While we have help on how to find VAT report discrepancies, do understand how you'd like a 1 single report that you can easily segment for this review.
This isn't something we have plans for at present, but we are continuing to track and will share if there are any updates of this nature planned with you all here. Thanks

VAT return - Improved navigation or contents pages
VAT Return - transactions by VAT Box
Hi our company VAT return is currently over 400 pages long. Reviewing it is not easy when you have the box 1 figure on page one. I then scroll to about page 65 to get to the box 4 numbers after scrolling past it 2 or 3 times.
It would be amazing if there was a navigation panel to one side that I could click and it would take me to the page of the vat return relevant to the box number I want to review.6 votesThanks for your feedback on navigating the VAT return report. Business Activity Statement - Calculate Wine Equalisation Tax (WET) in AU
Ability to calculate Wine Equalisation Tax in Australia.
Purpose: To easily comply with transactiona tax requirements in Australia
84 votesHi community, I know it's been some time since our last update here. Though we're continuing to follow and track the interest in automatic calculation of wine equalisation tax within Xero, for the time being this isn't something we've planned.
As some may have received detail from our support team on there is a way we suggest you can record your WET liabilities and credits within Xero - See our post on this discussion for the detail. Alternatively, there are app partners you could explore on the Xero app store.
If there are any changes around this we will be back to share with you all on this idea.
