Bank Feeds - Bank Feeds for ethical banks
Our charity places values first and in searching for a new current account for our organisation, ones with high ethical standards that synchronise with Xero is a very restricted field. CAF, Unity Trust, Triodos for example do not have bank feeds and they say this capacity sits with Xero. We currently bank with The Cooperative that scores well, and we have had to leave Barclays who have been exposed as very poor. Bank feeds - Send link to client to authorise
I would like to be able to send a bank/xero link to connect the AMEX credit card feeds or other banks that enable linking via internet banking, rather than having to add the client as a user in Xero first to be able to connect bank feeds via a link. This seems to complicate the signing of completed financials and tax returns sent from xero to the client for signature. It asks them to login (when their email is connected with a Xero account just so they could link internet banking) and many clients are finding it frustrating.

Bank Feeds - Customise fields in the Account Transactions tab
It would be handy if account transaction list that shows when you click on your bank account could be modified to include / remove different fields so that you can see information that you would like to see when looking at bank transactions without having to create a custom report.

Bank Reconciliation - Use Bank Rules to record fees
It would be wonderful if in Bank rules we could also include the fee that will be taken out.
Eg a deposit of $100 from Fresha attracts a $2 fee. The bank feed shows $98 . Is there a way to be able to bank rule this7 votes -

I'd like to request the integration of a WesBank loan feed, similar to the bank feed functionality. This addition would significantly improve efficiency in managing loan transactions within Xero.

Bank Feed - Don't remove duplicate statement lines
Xero should auto import all the transactions from the bank feeds even if it appears to be double entries of the same transaction. For example Toll fees with the same amount on the same day are only imported once into xero although all the transactions are on the bank's online profile.

Given that your bank feeds constantly don’t work, it would be great if they could be refreshed via the app, rather than having to login to a computer.

Bank feeds - Import statements from N26
Can we please get the ability to Import N26 statements into Xero either directly by live feed or by Hubdoc PDF import.

Bank reconcilliation - Allocate account transactions against each other.
Add a function to allocate transactions in an account against each other so you can easily identify which transactions are making up the balance (e.g. in a PAYE you would allocate the payment to HMRC against the payroll journal).

Bank feeds - Support for South African payment processors (PayFast, Payflex, PayJustNow, Ozow, etc)
While our primary business banking account transactions import automatically via a bank feed, the process of importing the transactions from our payment processors/gateways into their respective bank accounts in Xero are manual and add many hours of admin - there is already some integration with these gateways to support payments and this could be extended to include transactions flowing into Xero.

Bank Feeds - Notify when the feed has been updated
Could Xero either provide notifications to users when their bank feed has automatically retrieved their transactions or have a place in Xero where a user can see the time their feed has automatically been updated. This would help those people who receive notifications from their banks when somebody has successfully logged in know that it is from a legitimate source.

Bank Feed - Support First Citizens Bank(FCB) Commercial Advantage feeds
Xero has some feeds for First Citizens but apparently not for FCB Commercial Advantage customers. It's worth noting that Commercial Advantage is for FCB's bigger customers albeit We're a $5MM revenue entity so we're not really that big. And Commercial Advantage is accessible nationwide (USA). Furthermore, FCB is not a regional bank anymore. I mean, they bought Silicon Valley Bank after the collapse so I think it's safe to say they've got some size to them. Bank Feeds - Automatic feed for BNZ, rather than having to update online
BNZ do not provide receivers with online access to accounts. Xero only allow BNZ bank feeds to be updated online. Receiving timely access to transactions is very important but BNZ & Xero have decided to cease this feature and not provide a solution for all customers.

Bank Feeds - Add a transaction code and use on the account transaction
Transactions imported by Yodlee Bank Feed do not display in the chronological order that they occur in my online banking portal or bank statements.
As I have a lot of bank transactions on any given day, this makes it time consuming to do any kind of reconciliation between by online bank account and my bank feed import as I have to match each transaction up in the different orders they appear.
This is a regular occurrence as Yodlee sometimes imports transactions part way through a day and I have to work out where I got up to processing these transactions…

Be able to setup the ATO integrated Client Account as a Bank Account and receive a direct feed fro the ATO (or relevant Tax Authority) for transactions including Penalties and General Interest Charges.

Bank feed - Increase daily imported statement lines
Bank Feed - During month-end we have more than 250 lines to import per day for the wages. The import function on Xero is for less than that per day, so we have to do some lines manually.. Will you please increase the import function on the lines per day?

Bank Feed - providing all data available from bank such as IRD number
We have just changed a lot of our clients over from MYOB where we could get supplier account numbers, IRD numbers etc in the bank feed details, and could then set bank rules for them based on the supplier account number or IRD no & tax type etc.
With many transactions Xero gives us a lot less information. Often the supplier account number is missing, or IRD tax type & IRD number are missing - along with many other details. This makes using bank rules impossible for many transactions, and takes a lot longer to reconcile manually as we have…
