  1. Automatic bank statement

    It would be nice to have automatic bank statement transfers, as a customer why I got Xero is to spend less time with these manual things and let my bookeeper handle everything. But now I still have to manually email 10 statements a month to Hubdoc and that is still precious time lost on things I hate to do

  2. Bank Feed - Better Identification of Bank Institutions

    When searching for a bank institution, you all should allow for searches for the bank URL home page and also include a logo of the bank with each institution. For example, 'First Bank' has 40 different institutions and each sound similar to the next. Please consider creating better identifiers for each bank institution Xero integrates with. (QBO does this)

    Hey everyone, great news on this one! You can now enter your bank's website address (URL) right into the search field. It's a handy way to help you pinpoint the exact bank you need and get your feed connected.

    While logos don't appear on the search screen itself, you will see that for many banks, their logo will pop up on your dashboard once the account is connected.

  3. Bank Feeds - In-app alerts for current and historic outages

    If Xero or a partner organisation should encounter issues which may lead to data integrity issues, we should receive an email alert or some kind of notification.
    e.g. issues with Bank Feeds whereby there are duplicate or missing transactions. This has occurred a few times and we have only discovered, retrospectively, about the issue.

    We don't use Xero each day and certainly don't visit the Status page every day, such issues may well not come to light... by the time we visit the Status page a problem is quite likely to have been resolved and the status shows as OK,…

    Hey team 👋 We're thrilled to announce a change that we've made that addresses your idea here. We've added notices for bank feed disruptions directly on the Bank Accounts widget on your Xero Dashboard!

    If there's a known issue, we'll tell you about it right then and there, allowing you to plan your day accordingly and know when to be extra vigilant with your reconciliation. We're also considering expanding this feature to include a wider range of real-time disruption alerts in the future.

    Adding Triodos bank feed in Xero.

    Hi team, rounding back to confirm that Triodos bank feed is now live in Xero for Personal, Business and Charity current accounts! 🎉

    Thank you to all those who've contributed and shared input to get this feed up and running. 

  5. Bank Feed: RHB Malaysia - Current account feed.

    Having RHB Malaysia current account feed in Xero.

    Purpose: To save users time from having to manually import the statement.

    Hi all, as you might have noticed we recently released a direct bank feed for American Express (AU). 

    You can update your bank connection to our new American Express direct feed by selecting the Update bank connection on the American Express account from your Xero dashboard. From here click Login & Connect Accounts, then follow the prompts to update. 

    This new feed offers improved security, accuracy, reliability, and provides a better overall experience.
