Inventory - Add a Location and use on Packing Slips
Inventory - We are considering switching to Xero from Sage50, but have come across the issue of not being able to add an inventory item's "Bin Location" to the packing slip. We could include the bin location in the description of the item, but we don't want this to appear on the customer invoice. We only want the item's location to appear on the Packing Slip for the warehouse operatives to locate the items easily.

I have a similar issue.
I would like to include a bin location to the individual product.
That is for internal use only, you create the product with the cost, sell and bin location.
Quote the product, win the order, create the invoice, pick list and packing list.
Pick list has product, quantity required and bin location.
Packing list is the same as pick list less the bin location.
I'm sure that this would be an easy update to the products and services files.
We're still running an excel spreadsheet with bin locations because this feature doesn't exist. -

Be able to add the stock location on Inventory and include this when running a stock report for audit

I don't mind if the inventory location shows on the invoice, but the fact that Xero doesn't even allow an inventory location to be recorded against a p/n is an incredible oversight. Surely a simple feature to implement??
