Supplier & Customer Ledger Improvements
It would be extremely helpful if the invoice description could be displayed directly within the Supplier Ledger and Sales Ledger, alongside existing information such as invoice date, invoice number, and amount.
Currently, when searching for a specific invoice, it is necessary to open each invoice individually to view the description. This can be very time-consuming, particularly when reviewing large volumes of transactions.
If displaying the description by default is not possible, having it available as an optional column or filter would still provide significant time savings and improve efficiency.
Additional Purchase Ledger Enhancement
A valuable addition would be a Supplier Statement tab within the Purchase Ledger. Users could upload a supplier statement, and the system would automatically:
Match and reconcile invoices already recorded in Xero.
Highlight invoices that are on the supplier statement but missing from Xero.
Identify potential discrepancies between the supplier statement and ledger records.
Similar functionality is currently available through Dext's Supplier Statement feature and would greatly streamline supplier reconciliations, reduce manual work, and help ensure completeness of records.
These enhancements would save a considerable amount of time for users managing both purchase and sales ledgers.

Yes, further to this, I struggle with the fact that if I need to search for a specific item that is detailed in the description, I can't search for it using the general spy glass search. The search seems to only pick up if I typed a "description" myself into the "Reference" field of a bill or invoice. This shows in the ledger, but it would be really helpful if the search function would include searching the Description field too. I need to be able to search on Bills and invoices for specific items that are noted in the description, rather than trying to make a note in the reference, which often isn't big enough for this purpose. So a Search Function that searches all fields would be great please.
