NEED TO BE ABLE TO OFFSET CREDIT TO INVOICES IN BULK TO THE OLDEST BALANCES AVAILABLE - IM CAN NOT POST 2000 CREDIT ADJUSTMENTS ONE BY ONE - ITS IMPOSSIBLE. GIVE US THE OPTION TO AUTO BULK ALOCATE CREDITS TO DEBITS PER CUSTOMER .

Hi everyone
We wanted to provide you an update on our progress for this idea as it’s very much something we want to make easier for you all. The feedback you’ve provided so far has been helpful. One of the big problems our Product team identified in this thread and in other customer research is how hard it is for customers to navigate their statement lines to gain a holistic view of the work they need to do and complete their work flows efficiently.
I’m pleased to share that they’re in the early stages of developing a solution that will help to improve this experience by combining a search tool with an increased number of statement lines being returned to the page.
The product team has a working concept and are looking to validate this with some customers before working out the final details. If you’re interested in participating, please…

Hi everyone, thanks for the idea and support here. We appreciate all the valuable feedback and ideas shared regarding the ability to split batch payments when reconciling, and understand it currently takes extra steps to reconcile when a single invoice among a batch has been paid, or when there are multiple payments to the same entity for different invoices.
Being transparent, we don’t have direct plans for making this change within the foreseeable future but if anything changes in this space, we’ll update you on this idea!Rene Lindeque

i have the same issue - to many duplicate contacts are being created - the system should not allow such easy contact creations. there should be a way that only admin and senior reviewers are able to create contacts

We need more people to vote the more votes the more they will consider it apparently. It's absolutely ridiculous as this is such a standard accounting feature that should be there.

Thanks for your feedback on the thread. Though not useful for all, we did bring attention to the reports that could help some people in the forums here.
We'll continue to consider this and other ideas for customer statements as the platform evolves.
Again not a full resolve but another option that could be handy for some is the inclusion of the Outstanding bills link when sending individual invoices to your customers. Through this, persons of a contact will be able to view and get detail of the invoices they have outstanding with you at any given time.

Thanks for the confirmation, Ann - I've just updated the idea title and categories to get this showing where others might be interested too.
Most recently we released a new Journal report with a lot more flexibility than the older version, and should help with finding a journal you're looking for.
You can search for a journal by filtering the Journal report by description 😁

Hi Julie, yes this is so frustrating, we have the same issues. sitting with over 3000 unallocated credits and have to di it one by one - its absolutely ridiculous that this is not a standard feature. THE Same for a normal plain old school customer and supplier detailed ledger with running balance. they have all these fancy reports but not a basic cust ledger. we really like using xero - but the cust and supplier portions is just really S**ty. im just hoping that if this feature gets enough votes that they will do something about it.
