Hi Andrew, I'm so glad that you took time to take a look at my app, thank you for your feedback!
I'll be working on this to ensure I get most of these questions ticked off my board for sure (especially allowing supplier exports as well which should be a short amount of work for sure). I'm gonna reply to the questions you had in my email to you, and hopefully at some point we can connect on more things.
Once again, as an early early stage app, to have any input, especially like this, goes a long way so thanks again 🙌

A A can you please make contact via email Andrew.Syme@firstclassaccounts.com
Some feedback
The app doesn't seem to download anything - so obv I am missing some step ??
Would be nice to have a feedback option in the menu ??
Perhaps consider a common request of "Move a Bank Transaction (eg Spend Money) from one bank account to another"
I like the look and feel - but it would connect to Demo ?
Contacts needs to be refined to Customers only ?
Also the export Attachments function looks interesting - Maybe a help section ? -

Hi 👋
I'm a dev who worked a while with xero software and I recently found this community page. It's crazy that some of the things I was developing for private company use as part of my employment were among the things people wanted here. So I've decided to do my own thing here and help people make the most out of this software.
I got this beta version app going here: https://x-extensions.vercel.app/ , and I recently started enabling exporting customer statements to excel.
Hope it helps 🙌, I'll keep improving it as I go on and get some feedback.

Hey @Jordan, in the meantime you could use the receivable invoice summary report and export into excel as who knows how long it will take Xerop to action this :/

I've had a request for a customer statement in Excel format and there doesn't appear to be any way to facilitate this at the account level- only PDFs can be generated. Ironically we've moved over from more archaic software which did have this option. Xero team - please look into this!

Excel / CSV is critical in financial statements. This is a basic requirement. - 100% agree

Have you tried opening the PDF with Word and then copying to Excel?

Facility to export customer statements to excel.
The only option at the moment is pdf or email.
The CSV option is no longer available either.
I believe there are quite a few of us that would really benefit from this feature -

It would actually be great if Xero had a look at some of these comments and pulled their finger out and did something about it!!!

A Critical business function needed. This should be a simple task, which i can see from other comments below has not yet been added. Why we all ask

More and more large companies are asking for this to upload to their internal accounts system - this function needs to be added please because at the moment it has to be done manually outside of the software otherwise we don't get paid!

got all excited for a moment there that Xero were actually going to get round to doing something about this basic (vital) function
but no! They have merely combined the request with another one so they only have to ignore one rather than two!!
I raised it over 5 years ago - shame on you Xero! -

This is a must for our customers.

This is something that should be included as standard!

When will this feature become available?

The whole customer statement section in Xero is very weak.
I have actually set up my own report in Accounting and export that.
