    We appreciate users wanting more flexibility in the data they show on invoices. At present our teams are re-developing some of the base features across Sales with particular focus on new invoicing.


    At this time, there are no plans for developing a fields for a PO number in invoicing. Focus is on existing features in invoicing.


    It's good to get a renewed understanding of interest here on Product Ideas, and if there's any news we will update on this here.

    In the meantime, there is a way the custom template can be edited to rename the Reference field as a 'Purchase Order Number' field - see more in the discussion here

    Currently, each separate line in a sales credit note has to be separately assigned to a Project. There should be tickyboxes so that the lines can be assigned en masse, as there is for bills.

    I remember being able to have negative stock on hand when working for a previous employer who used MYOB. Twenty years ago.

    We used this function so that customers could prepay for stock we had on backorder with our suppliers, and we could update them quickly and easily about the status of their orders when our suppliers updated us. I remember once having to warn my boss when the backorders needed to trigger another order of the same item from our suppliers, because I could see that the negative stock on hand plus normal orders would result in stock running out before a second batch would arrive. It made stock level management a LOT easier!

    Thanks for your passion and the detailed feedback on this idea, community. We can see how much time is spent manually consolidating tracking category budgets, and why having this roll-up automatically would make a big difference.

    As noted by others in the thread, one option for now is to use a third-party app from the Xero App Store. Some in the community have mentioned tools like Spotlight Reporting or Budget Consolidator are great for this, and it’s a good way to get the insights you’re after.

    While we understand the value this feature would add, it isn't on our immediate roadmap to build right now. We know that's not the news you're hoping for, but we want to be transparent about what's in our current focus - You can get a view of some of the changes coming in the next quarter through our website, The Long and Short of

    Hi team, we hope you are liking the new staff and client experience for managing your practice, with Xero Partner Hub beginning to rollout to practices over the coming months.

    To provide an update on the desire for being able to provide a practice access when a practice staff is invited into a clients org - this is something our teams are currently exploring. While we can't make commitments as yet, we will keep you updated of any development for this through this idea. Thanks

    Hi everyone, thanks for your continued feedback on this idea. We appreciate you sharing how important selecting multiple employees is for you when running this report.

    Our product team has reviewed this and agree this is something they'd like to develop, though it isn't currently on the roadmap. We’ll update the status to Accepted, so that it’s formally put up for consideration.

    In the meantime, Kelly mentioned the Payroll Activity Summary report lets you run reports by employee groups, though we understand this doesn't fully meet your needs with the two tracking category limit.

    We'll keep tracking interest here and update you if there's progress.

    I use reports like this every month when I do payroll tax. Last month, I could filter by an employee group, so I could group my employees by state for each state's separate payroll tax return - this month, I can no longer filter by group, so I have to get the values for Each. Individual. Employee. In. Each. State. And Then. Add. Them. Up. And. Hope. I. Made. No. Typos.

    It's an absolute waste of time.

    Hi Douglas, while we don't have a POS app ourselves you'll find Xero integrates with many different POS solutions, including Vend. You can explore the range of these on our App store

    We don't have any immediate plans for expanding into this area atm, but we'll keep tracking the interest of this here and share if there's any plans made. Thanks
