Hi everyone, some time on since my last update I wanted to give you more of an idea of the work we have going on to help reduce the number of steps and actions in new invoicing. Along with the changes mentioned in my last update, we've since released a change to the view of an invoice to shift details back into their own columns (similar to classic), while a small change we know it's improved visibility for some of our customers.
We also have other work in development atm that’ll further help here like a new line item grid when editing your invoice - wrapped up in this we’ll be introducing changes you’ve been asking for like the ability to create a new tracking option or account code without having to navigate away from the invoice, we’re increasing the number of items that you can view from the drop…

Appreciate your feedback on the idea here. As a grounds to start from we thought it would help to confirm;
- There is a two way sync of your clients between Practice Manager and your practice Xero organisation Contacts
- The sync between XPM and your practice Xero organisation contacts is different - we’ve explained this more below
Differences between Xero Practice Manager(XPM) and your practice Xero organisation sync
- Client will sync with your organisation’s Contacts depending on your Xero connection setup - more on Xero Central
- This is controlled by users with the Administrator role and can be set to ‘Never’, ‘Only when uploading invoices’ or ‘Every time client or supplier details are updated’

An error occurred while saving the comment Laura Sinclair commentedThis would be extremely helpful, especially with the CAS360 integration. We have so many companies we can't match as the address in CAS360 is the registered office (our address) but in XPM we have the address that we send everything to. This would significantly improve the integration.

Hi community, thanks for your input in this idea. A comment field in Job Manager is something that our product team would like to explore, however there are other items that need their attention at this time.

Disappointed to not hear anything about this today at the Roadshow. It's something we've been told has been in the works for some time, but haven't heard an update in a while.
We have the ability to re-use contacts for new entities being added to XPM, but we need an efficient way to merge our pre-existing contacts. It is crucial to using integrations such as CAS360 and Class as more duplicates are coming through when enabling these plugins.
Any update on this would be appreciated - thanks Xero.
