Hi team, while not a feature wide control we've implemented a change leveraging Xero notifications service so you can set a reminder and stay on top of Activity Statement lodgments - Within the settings of this report you'll find a due date reminders tab where you can select a recipient and when you want the reminder to be sent.

We appreciate you raised this a little while ago, thank you for your patience whilst we review. Whilst this isn't currently on our product team's road map, they've reviewed your comments and can see the value scheduling superannuation payments would bring. With this in mind, we've moved the status of this idea to Accepted and will keep you updated as we go.

It would be good to be able to schedule super payments rather than have them be paid immediately they are authorised/processed. This would enable early processing (for convenience) but not paying until the due date (for cashflow).

Hi everyone, we'd like to return with an update for all who've supported the idea for attaching files within Payroll.
As we develop foundations of payroll to enable us to consider new features like this, we're beginning discovery of how we might build this capability and when this could be planned in our roadmap.
This is just the initial stages of diving deeper into this work, but steering in the right direction.
I'll be sure to share any progression around attachments within payroll with you all, here.

Thanks for your patience, it’s been a little while since you raised this idea, so we wanted to check in. We've now reviewed this idea and have moved it to Gaining Support status. Our product team are keeping an eye on this idea and we will continue to share updates as things evolve.

This would be very useful in AU Payroll too. Instead of having notes everywhere about say deductions, the line could be entered straight into a draft pay run. Also useful for upcoming terminations etc.

Hey everyone 👋 Thanks so much for all the detailed feedback on applying work patterns for part-time employees. We’ve been following the conversation and understand that manually adjusting pay runs for pro-rata entitlements can be a real challenge. It’s clear that having this automated could save time and give you greater peace of mind.
I’m pleased to let you know our product team has reviewed this idea and we’re updating the status to ‘Accepted’. This means that while it’s not on our immediate roadmap, it’s something we see real value in and want to bring into Xero when we can prioritise the work.
In the meantime, the workarounds shared here, like manually adjusting hours in each pay run, remain the best approach. We really appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts, as your feedback plays a crucial role in shaping Xero. We’ll keep you updated on any developments…

Hi there, we appreciate you raised this a little while ago. This isn't something we have plans for in the near term.
Not getting a lot of support from other members we’ll soon remove this from Product ideas. If it’s still highly valuable to you, welcome to start it again and see if it gets renewed interest.

It would be good if the File button could go from a green 'File' to a red 'Filed' once the payrun is filed. When it stays the same, I never know if I filed it or not without going back to payruns list to check ...
