Thanks for your feedback, Michelle. When you say a professional version are there other things out side of the notifications in product that you'd be looking for within a product of this kind?
Being open we don't have anything like this planned, however understanding your needs can help when sharing your feedback with the team.

Hi everyone, we appreciate your engagement with us about Just Ask Xero(JAX) and concerns shared on the data this model uses.
To confirm the LLMs are not trained using any Xero data. The AI behind JAX uses LLMs available from commercial vendors like Microsoft, Google and Amazon, (we have commercial agreements that prevent them from training their models with our customers data), as well as proprietary technology, JAX Assure, that works in concert to support accuracy and security.
JAX is currently in beta - Once your organisation is invited to opt-in to the beta, you can trigger the opt-in buy sending JAX a message in the pop-up window of your dashboard.
However, if you’re not interested in using JAX, don’t send a message, and the assistant won’t be activated. You can also dismiss the pop-up using the 'x' in the top right corner. You'll be prompted once more and can…

Hi team, while we don't have immediate plans to change the placement of buttons on new invoicing we're interested in staying close to this feedback and I'll move the idea to Under review for the time being. We'll return to confirm any outcomes.

Couldn't agree more! Having to scroll back up to the top of a screen is madness. Even adding a new customer while processing an invoice has the Save button at the top of the screen, it makes no sense

Hi community, we’ve just released some new keyboard shortcuts to new invoicing, that cut down the number of mouse clicks and help you perform actions on your invoice with some simple keyboard entry options.
There’s a range of different shortcuts that you can explore, and in particular a few that I wanted to call out for ‘Approve’ options that I know will be of most interest to you, here;
- Approve (Ctrl-Alt-A OR Cmd-Opt-A on a Mac)
- Approve & add another (Ctrl-Alt-O OR Cmd-Opt-O on a Mac)
- Approve & print PDF (Ctrl-Alt-R OR Cmd-Opt-R on a Mac)
- Approve & email / send eInvoice (Ctrl-Alt-E OR Cmd-Opt-E on a Mac)
While you get used to the combinations of shortcuts our product team have added small prompts to highlight these in the product, and if you’d like to view the full list of options you can see them all on Xero Central.

Laughable. we are not all sole traders. We are dealing with a lot of transactions and the process is now too slow and click heavy. So frustrating

XERO don't seem to understand that their software is used by businesses other than sole traders. There are many issues that relate to this on the system. They should be developing a "Professional" version to serve us better.

Thanks to everyone that participated in and shared back on the team’s research in the new invoicing layout. Taking your feedback on board our teams have made some improvements to the layout of new invoicing, including changes to the layout of fields and buttons.
By rearranging and condensing space between fields, you’ll find there is less white space than previously shown, making it easier to navigate and tab through fields when entering your invoices. We’re actively looking into changes within the invoicing grid that’ll go further to condensing information on the screen and reducing actions when entering your invoices. We’ll update as there is more information to share on this.

Hi everyone, understand the confusion in some of the recent comments here. To explain how this works at present - A report will automatically default to portrait or landscape mode based on the width of the report. The more columns you add, Xero will automatically switch the layout from portrait to landscape mode.
The same report should not change from user to user, if you're finding this it may be worth checking your printer fit settings and if these differ.
We don't have plans for developing an option of whether a report prints in landscape or portrait mode atm, but our teams are across the interest of this, so if there's any change we'll share an update on this with you, here.

Agree this needs to be implemented, landscape is useful on some reports but we should have the choice. Posting on these ideas forums helps us all vent but I doubt anyone at XERO is actually monitoring them anyway

Agree. They should still show somewhere but they are pointless on reports. I don't hold out much hope though, everything XERO "updates" just makes things even more clunky

Can you please stop these incessant pop ups? Or give us a drop down to get rid of it - XERO usually loves a click and drop down
