Hi everyone, we appreciate your detailed feedback on how default tracking options for inventory items would improve your use of Xero. Atm, it’s possible to set default tracking on a Contact, however do understand why this isn’t suitable for all of you.
At this stage there’s no set plans to develop tracking in Xero inventory.
This is something we may consider in the longer term and we’ll continue to monitor votes and your feedback. We’ll update here if there’s any progress.

Hi team, thanks for continuing to share and support in this idea.
While our team has continued to consider this idea since our last update, being upfront with you all here we want to share that this isn't in our current roadmap and unlikely to be developed in the near term.
For this reason, we'll move this to Not in pipeline however should anything change this we'll certainly share an update with you all here.

Hi everyone, we appreciate all your feedback on the new GST return and while I've made sure your feedback has been shared with product, we're going to close this idea being too broad to focus in on a particular change.
We've created individual ideas for the following points raised as it'd be good to track the interest in each separately. Please do add your vote to each that you'd like to see.
- NZ GST - Export customised return
- NZ GST - Compact export (landscape v portrait)
- NZ GST - Move File with IR to top of page
- NZ GST - Styling PDF export
I'd also encourage raising a case with our specialists at Xero Support if you're having any issues with performance or usability as it'd be good to get more detail and our team can investigate.

The new GST report no longer print the description of the GST just the word Total when totalling each group.
I was using a SUMIF option in excel to get the Total of each GST group and this can no long be done.Current just show the word Total
eg Previously Total 15% GST (P) Income. This is in the heading of the group why was it removed from the Total of the group.This is annoying and adds more time to the process. Bring back the previous version or update the new version to how it was on the old version.

Hi everyone, though there isn't any progress to share on this idea we do want to provide and update for you all and thank you for engaging with us about this here.
We understand the desire and needs for being able to change or set a separate reply to email address when sending from your Xero organisation.
We're continuing to make improvements to sending of invoices in Xero however at this point our roadmaps does not extend to the email settings specifically.
This continues to be an area we're interested in diving deeper into in the long term and we'll be sure to share as soon as there's movement.
For the time being the only way to change the Reply-to email is to update this on the email settings screen prior to sending your transaction and change it back post sending. Thanks

Yes we would support having separate reply email address that are easiily used in the processes.

Hi everyone, thanks for the engagement and support on this idea. We recognise that having the option to display accounts in GL account number order when editing a reports layout would reduce the need to manually adjust the order of accounts.
We've reviewed your feedback, including the specific issues with grouping, and are moving this idea to Accepted. This reflects that the idea has not been included in our current roadmap but that this is an idea that we will continue to monitor.

Hey everyone, thanks for all the votes and feedback on this idea! Our product teams have definitely taken note and understand the effort involved in automatic report generation and sending.
While it's something we see as valuable in the long run, it's not currently on our development roadmap with a specific timeframe. We're still keen to hear from those of you who would find this feature helpful, so please keep the conversation and votes coming. We'll be sure to update you if our plans change.

We would really like to have this functionality. We are in the processing of streaming lining the number of GL accounts and use the Tracking Code options for reporting. Ideally to have the Tracking codes added to the items codes when selecting the item for processing the Tracking codes are prefilled on the Invoices and Payments so we are not having todo double entry of the codes.
There would seem to be tracking codes available on most other items including GL Journals so you would think this is straight forward so hopefully you can add this to the enhancement list ASAP.
Is this in the pipe line?
