Hi everyone, thanks for all of your support on this idea.
We've been following your comments and recognise that having a streamlined way to get timesheets from a spreadsheet into Xero Payroll would be a huge time saver.
As noted by others in this thread, one option is to explore some of the connected time-tracking apps in the Xero App Store. While we know this isn't a perfect substitute for a direct import feature, it may help bridge the gap in the meantime.
The good news is that we see the value this feature would provide and we want to explore it further. We'll change the status of this idea to Accepted.
We appreciate your patience, we’ll provide any further updates right here.

Thanks for your support and joining in this idea. We get the challenges involved in manually chasing up employees to complete timesheets each pay period.
Although it's not the integrated solution you’re looking for, you could look to set up recurring calendar events or using external communication tools to prompt your team members.
We want to be transparent that we don't have any plans for adjusting the existing notifications for timesheets.
We'll continue to monitor this idea, and should our priorities shift in the future we'll let everyone know here.

**YES PLEASE**
the time I waste chasing staff to submit their timesheets so I can pay them does my head in!!
If they could get a reminder Wednesday night and again Thursday moring this would be a game changer for many I believe.

Hi community 🙋
Thanks for starting this idea! Did you see last week that our Product Team released an update that helps speed things up on Xero Me Mobile? They’ve enabled the ability to copy previous time entries in start-end timesheets on a per day basis. To do this, enter your time entries as usual for the first day in your timesheet, and then select the “copy from [date]” option when adding a new time entry for a consecutive day.
The team are interested in further exploring improvements in this area, but at this stage there are no firm plans to progress this idea. They’ve got their eyes on the ground though - closely monitoring your ideas, votes and comments. An error occurred while saving the comment

Our staff all work the same hours on weekdays and occasionally do overtime. Be great if I could set them all up with a 'default timesheet' or there was 'timesheet template' and they just add their overtime rather than having to enter all their time worked from scratch every week.
Also a reminder on Wednesday arvo and again Thursday moring to submit their timesheet would be gold and save me chasing them all up individually so I can do a payrun.

Thanks for your engagement with this idea to allow setting specific working days for part-time employees in AU Payroll. We understand wanting to handle these common working arrangements smoothly and accurately.
We know this is a key area for improvement and we'd like to look into this deeper in the long term, however it’s not in our roadmap just yet.
Right now you'll need to manually adjust leave requests.
We'll be sure to provide another update as we move forward with our investigations.

Hi everyone, these are the sort of updates I like sharing! This idea has remained top of mind for our product teams - We appreciate all your feedback and how we could improve managing and reviewing employee timesheets in Xero Payroll.
With that I'd like to let you know that we're updating the timesheet admin experience, including a new timesheet list and a redesigned details view to help you find what you need faster.
Join our early access program ✨
We’d love your help to shape these improvements. We’re looking for customers who manage or approve employee timesheets to join an early access program. You’ll try the new interface and give feedback directly to our team.
What you can expect:
- Easier admin tasks: Navigate your list and details views faster (this only impacts admins, so there’s no change for employees)
- Early access: Try these updates before they’re available…

An essential service. This would save me so much time. And I always forget.... even with reminders set.

Would love to see this as an option.
We have to send reports that have the ABN as a mandatory requirement so we currently have to export to excel, add the ABN and print to PDF.
