Appreciate the interest in being able to search by description. While we're attentive to your feedback, I want to be open that we don't have any immediate plans for developing this atm.
We're staying close to feedback on how we can improve navigation for our customers when using Xero, and I'll let you know if there is any development planned surrounding this, here. Thanks

FOR THE LOVE OF GOD! PLEASE ADD THIS SEARCH FEATURE!!
For Example; I have to invoice 50 different individuals at 3 different companies.. now over a two week period, one person may be invoiced 6 invoices. Now I have to search through each invoice to find 1 invoice of concern. How annoying!
Even more so, because when I cannot locate the correct invoice, I have to then go back.. type the name again.. and search ALL OVER AGAIN! I cannot simply go back to search results, or skip though the searched details. FOR GODS SAKE XERO get it together!! Like this is what you are here for.. to help your clients make business easier!

As usual.. Xero team seems to completely disregard good ideas, that add value to the package, and yet continue to increase fees.. for YOUR ideas!

This would be huge for me! I often get paid in batch of 10-70 invoices at once. Mistakes are often made because I have to manually select so many invoices, and they are not sent in order either.

This is an absolute must. I just emailed my client 200 draft invoices by mistake.
Oh dear. What a mess!

Hi everyone, we want to share that we've released a change to history for each time an invoice is sent.
Invoice history will now show the primary recipient email whenever an invoice is sent. This includes the initial and any subsequent send of an invoice.
We appreciate this has been a pain point for everyone that's joined in the idea here and hope this visibility improves your experience in invoicing.
We'd like to confirm how this works;
- This record is only applicable from here on in, there are no updates to any historical entries for sending.
- History will show the email of the initial recipient entered in the 'To' field any emails that you include as a CC or BCC option will not be shown.
We do want to highlight, that while the email will be recorded in majority of cases, there are a few scenarios our team have picked…

I agree totally with the above. I will do a batch of 50 invoices, make one mistake, and have to click through them all over again! SOOOOO PAINFUL!
If we could import the remittance advice and have it preselect the invoices automatically, that would be the best.. but at the very least, being able to add one would be a big help.

Hi everyone, we very much appreciate the feedback from you on wanting to be able to include more than 50 invoices in a batch deposit.
While this is something we'll continue to review we want to be open that this is not planned in the short term.
In the other side of the coin, we know there are also some in the conversation here that would like to see an increase in the number of bills included in a batch payment and I'd recommend adding your vote and staying tuned to this other idea.
If there is any change or updates around batch deposit volumes I'll be sure to share with you, here.

Same here.. 70+ invoices paid in one transaction.. this is a vital feature I need.

Search feature to include 'NEXT' option when viewing searched invoices!
Or more simply, to include 'Description' in the search, for more specific results.Glenn Clarke

UPDATE!! WORKAROUND FOUND!! NO THANKS to XERO team.
Guys. If you want to be able to search for ANY item in an invoice, do this.
Add an email address either to your contact, or send a copy of the invoice to an email address you have access to.
Then, just search the email address for the item you are searching for. BAM!
Solved my issues as I have to import my invoices, and there are no available searchable fields remaining.
