    Hi everyone, we appreciate how quickly this idea has picked up traction from the community here.

    As you've likely heard through other communications we're in the midst of rolling out a unified Client experience as part of our wider Xero Partner Hub.

    With the new Client experience you can now;

    • Create a client without a TFN, as the Create Client flow has been updated to capture only the basic details
    • The TFN can be added later by clicking Edit once the client is created.
    • If you do try add a TFN that already exists on an archived client, an error message is displayed - you can get a view of what this looks like in my attachment

    Thanks again for sharing with us here and I'll be back to confirm when this new experience is live to all practices.

    Ability to run an Aged Debtors Report of what debts clients owed us at a certain date in XPM. For example, we want to see what our clients owed us at 30/06/25, however the Standard Report (Aged Balance Report) can't be run to a certain date and if we create our own Report in Report Builder it removes clients from the report if they have paid since 01/07/25 and now owe nothing. We need these figures to do clients Financials and also for our own Practice reporting. We can run it in Xero Blue however we don't have the ability in Xero Blue to filter by each of our Partners so need to be able to do it in Xero Green (XPM).

    100% this is so frustrating. Because a client's legal name could be Mark but he goes by Harry which is not his middle name and we need to record that in a spot at the top not down in custom fields.

    Hi team, we appreciate your feedback and support on this idea.

    As you'll have noticed we've released our new unified client and staff experience that combines the experiences across Xero Practice Manager and Xero HQ.

    You'll find more filter and column options for the Client list.

    Though Client Partner and Client Manager aren't filters that can be added at present our product team are aware of the interest for this and will consider this enhancement as they continue to plan their roadmap. We will share any updates with you here.

    This would be so so helpful. Same with the Xero Blue file to be able to filter invoices by Partner/Account Manager would be amazing and causing considerable pain.

    Appreciate your feedback on the idea here. As a grounds to start from we thought it would help to confirm;

    • There is a two way sync of your clients between Practice Manager and your practice Xero organisation Contacts
    • The sync between XPM and your practice Xero organisation contacts is different - we’ve explained this more below


    Differences between Xero Practice Manager(XPM) and your practice Xero organisation sync

    • Client will sync with your organisation’s Contacts depending on your Xero connection setup - more on Xero Central
      • This is controlled by users with the Administrator role and can be set to ‘Never’, ‘Only when uploading invoices’ or ‘Every time client or supplier details are updated’

    Hi everyone, thanks for sharing your feedback on prepayment and accrual schedules. We appreciate you explaining how important this is for your month-end processes and workflow efficiency.

    I’d like you to know your idea's been carefully reviewed by our product team. They appreciate and understand the need for tracking revenue and expenditure related to prepayments and accruals, however at this time with other initiatives in the roadmap such as improving the bill creation and payment processes there are currently no plans for this in the pipeline.

    We’re keeping a close account of the support in this here, and will continue to review this opportunity within future planning. If there’s any progress made I’ll be sure to share with you all, here.

    Hi Renea, I notice you added your idea here to Practice Manager, can I just confirm - Are you looking to search Client contacts within Practice Manager, or Contacts within an individual organisation? Thanks

    Hi everyone, with the new unified client experience and Xero Partner Hub coming to you all soon this is a feature we're looking into.

    Our product team are exploring the ability to search by TFN from the client list. I'll keep you updated on where their discovery lands, here.

    Thanks for letting us know the changes that'd improve your experience managing your practice on Xero. We recently announced Xero Partner Hub at Xerocon, which will deliver many improvements that our customers have been asking for. This includes the ability to customise columns shown on your Client lists, so you can see the most valuable information to help you manage your clients.

    Get to know about the Xero Partner Hub on our website, and I'll be back to share as this experiences rolls out to partners.

    this is so critical. When a client calls we have to go all the way into a client to see who the manager is
