Thanks for bringing this idea to the community, Casey.
Having the option to choose the date range shown in the Time Summary widget could make it easier to review time over the periods that matter most to your team, without needing to switch to other areas of Xero Partner Hub.
I've updated the status of this idea to Gaining Support. If you'd like to see this added, please continue to vote and share how you'd use custom date ranges in your day-to-day workflow.

Thanks for feeding back on the Client search, Carey. The way that search works for the new client list experience is a little different to the older experience, and partial matching is not a feature with this new search.
While it's not in our roadmap atm, our team are keen to stay close the support this idea receives and will consider in future planning. I'll share if there are any updates here.

Hi Sue, thanks for sharing this! A merge feature for jobs could make managing duplicates much easier and help keep your records accurate and up to date. It would ensure that notes, tasks, and time entries all stay in one place, giving you a clearer view of each job’s progress and profitability.
We’ve moved this along to Gaining Support so the product team can see how useful a merge tool could be.

Hi Catherine, thanks for sharing this suggestion.
As mentioned in the community, you can currently access this from the Home Page via the View Timesheet option in the Time Summary widget. That said, we do understand that a one-click shortcut will be more convenient and visible.
I’ve moved this to Gaining Support so we can track interest and help our product teams understand how this kind of shortcut could improve day-to-day time entry.

Hi Trudi, while the Business menu option I mentioned in my last update remains the best flow for what you're after here currently.
I thought it may be useful to share that we've recently released some keyboard shortcuts for common actions in new invoicing that may help improve your efficiency when invoicing. Our product team have added small prompts to highlight these in the product while our customers familiarise, and if you’d like to view the full list of options you can see them all on Xero Central.
We'll continue to track the interest in an approve & close option here, and share if there are any changes planned that may impact this.

We used a third party provider to actually email the invoices to the client. To do this we just "Approve" the invoice (not "approve and email").
Is there a way to close the invoice once approved?
In classic invoicing we would approve and the main invoicing screen would appear (the actual invoice we've just done would close).
I agree with this. I will continue to switch back to the old system until I'm forced to move over just because of this feature. We try and encourage staff to use their timesheets, by adding more steps, it defeats the objective
