Hi team, apologies we jumped the gun a touch on the idea here.
Like previously mentioned, right now you can attach documents and links, set flexible workpaper periods, and use basic calculation sheets in the new experience.
Currently our team are exploring how we might further enhance Workpapers with variations for tailored templates, and support direct importing of reports to improve the way data moves across your compliance steps. We'll share as we have more updates for you around this.

Hey Everyone! Thanks for the feedback on the New Workpapers experience. Xero Ask is available on the Classic Workpapers but as yet not available in the new Workpapers experience. We've reviewed your idea and moved it to Gaining Support and now it's up to the community to get behind and support it. It would be great if the new workpapers could include a finance lease / loan calculation schedule like the old version. That schedule was very helpful for calculating borrowing costs and posting interest journals.
While the old workpapers had some limitations (e.g. fixed payment terms and limited flexibility for extra payments or admin fees), the repayment schedule itself was still very useful. An improved version in the new workpapers would add a lot of value.
