We can see the value in this, managing inter-entity loans more easily across entities in Workpapers, especially where you’re trying to match balances and reduce manual cross-checking. We’re moving this idea to Gaining Support so others can vote and add their use cases too. The more detail you can share about how you’d use this in practice, the easier it is for our team to understand the impact and prioritise future improvements.
This is something that’s on our radar, but we don’t have a timeframe to share right now. We’ll continue to monitor the feedback here and will update this thread if there’s more to share.

Great to get insight into the type of Workpapers our practices need. Thanks for voting on the idea here.
Being upfront this isn't in the roadmap at present, however we're keeping a close eye on interest through this forum and will be sure to share if there are any updates for a Livestock workpaper.

Hi Chris, apologies as returning to your idea here and checking in with our product team I can confirm it is not currently possible to create Workpaper packs for individuals unless they have a Xero subscription.
This is something our team intend to look into longer term, and I'll be keep you updated of any progress surrounding this here. Thanks

Thanks for sharing your idea for Xero's new Workpapers here, Michelle. There is an existing idea for a Loan Schedule that I've adde your vote to and we'll keep you updated on.
I've made your one here specific to a Hire Purchase workpaper. We don't have direct plans of this atm, but we'll share if there are any updates.

Hi everyone, thanks for continuing to share your feedback on this idea.
We understand that being able to see all queries at a glance within the In Progress tab would make it much easier to manage work without the extra clicks. The good news is that improvements are part of the planning for our new Workpapers solution in partnership with BGL 💃.
We’re continuing to roll out new Workpapers in phases, and we’ll be sure to share more updates here as we have them.

Hi team, apologies we jumped the gun a touch on the idea here.
Like previously mentioned, right now you can attach documents and links, set flexible workpaper periods, and use basic calculation sheets in the new experience.
Currently our team are exploring how we might further enhance Workpapers with variations for tailored templates, and support direct importing of reports to improve the way data moves across your compliance steps. We'll share as we have more updates for you around this.

Hi Gareth, appreciate your feedback on new Xero Workpapers here. Atm, you can refresh the pack after making template changes for them to pull through.
It'd be good to get more understanding of the scenarios in which you'd like to delete packs - For example when or why you'd want to delete packs and the sort of users you'd want to allow to delete packs to help us better assess your idea here. Thanks!

Hi team, thank you for the continued engagement here. We appreciate there are multiple needs that have been shared through this idea and we wanted to provide an update that our AU GST worksheet is currently being tested by a small group of practices to ensure it will meet the needs of Australian practices.
I'll be back to share more on this idea as it rolls out wider to practices.

Hey Everyone! Thanks for the feedback on the New Workpapers experience. Xero Ask is available on the Classic Workpapers but as yet not available in the new Workpapers experience. It would be great if the new workpapers could include a finance lease / loan calculation schedule like the old version. That schedule was very helpful for calculating borrowing costs and posting interest journals.
While the old workpapers had some limitations (e.g. fixed payment terms and limited flexibility for extra payments or admin fees), the repayment schedule itself was still very useful. An improved version in the new workpapers would add a lot of value.
