Hi everyone, thank you for sharing how the current tracking limits impact your reporting and tracking of different aspects of your business and processes. We know this is an important capability.
We’re exploring how we might tackle the needs in this idea and enhance Tracking Categories for the future.
While we can't commit to developments at this stage, we want you to know we hear the support and feedback from our community on this.
We’ll provide another update as the direction for this feature becomes clearer.

Option to combine a sales invoice and its attached files into one PDF when emailing to customers - rather than attaching files as several separate files.
Currently, you have to print the invoice and combine it with the backup files using a third-party app. Then, save it on your computer and email it externally to the customer.
Say this process only takes 3 minutes; that adds up to 2 entire hours for 40 invoices.

Thanks everyone, for continuing to share your experiences and examples here. We’ve been following the recent comments and really appreciate the added detail around the challenges this creates in real payment runs, particularly where credits need to be reflected alongside bills so supplier statements and remittances stay aligned.
This March, we released the ability to find and match credit notes when reconciling, which was another highly requested idea on Xero Product Ideas.
We recognise this is an end-of-process solution and doesn’t address the core need raised in this idea. As a quick update from my last post, we’ve done some early exploration into the technical requirements needed to solve the pain points mentioned. This is a complex area to get right, as it touches multiple parts of the bill payments and credit note experience.
At this stage, our focus remains on continuing to develop our bank-agnostic payments solutions across regions,…

Hi everyone, thanks for continuing to share feedback about paying multiple bills in foreign currencies with us here.
As mentioned in my last update UK organisations can use our online bill payments solution with Crezco to pay international suppliers.
UK businesses can now use open banking to pay suppliers in 180+ countries, including in EUR, USD and AUD, either individually or in batches. Payments can be prepared by a team member, authorised and tracked in Xero.
To share further progress in the US we've launched online bill payments through Melio, which includes ACH and international or cross-border payments.
We've also launched a bill payments solution for AU with AirWallex that's currently in early access. This doesn't yet support paying in foreign currency however this functionality is high on our radar as we continue to develop this experience.
We’ll continue to share progress as the further regional capabilities develop. Thanks

10 years & still no progress on this?
Currently, you have to 'print' the invoice and combine it with the backup files using a third-party app. Then save it to your computer and email it to the customer.
Say this process only takes 3 minutes (often longer); that adds up to 2 entire hours for 40 invoices.
