  1. The ability to add a Project (Revenue) Variation would be a huge help.
    If one can add a project (cost) variation using a Task, adding a Revenue variation should be achievable in Xero

  2. Possible to manually adjust the tax amount on the submitted expense claims?
    The tax amount is not adjustable to match the actual tax amount reflected on bills/receipt especially for decimal difference.

  4. Bulk download of invoice PDF files (not export csv)

    Currently after doing a search, what I understand the current process is:
    - Going under Paid / Unpaid tab under Invoices
    - Checkbox all and select print
    - But this clumps ALL the invoices into a single PDF file instead of one file per invoice number
    - Using an online tool to split the invoices. If your invoice is more than 1 page long, you'll need to manually merge them back.
    - Alternatively, manually clicking each invoice link, hitting the Print PDF button. Going back and repeat every invoice.

    Thanks for stepping out the process for others here, Vicky. You're correct in the way this currently works. 

    It'd help when sharing back with the team if you could share more detail of why you'd like the ability to export in bulk but create individual files. What would this help your business do? 

  5. Please add the function to add a Projects field on the Bills awaiting approval and Bills awaiting payment page.

    This allows users to select the projects that they manage, thus no need to open every bill.

  7. We use Unleashed (UL) for all of our purchases and sales. The team uploads associated files, proformas, invoices, and receipts directly to the UL PO.

    When the PO is completed and 'pushed' to Xero, the associated documents are lost. I then have to login, find them, download from UL, and then upload them into Xero.

    Is there anyway that these files can be pulled with the rest of the information?

  8. Allow Negative Discounts to provide a basic Tiered Pricing Solution

    There has been a huge amount of noise over the last 5+ years about Xero not supporting Tiered pricing. This can mean many things, but the most basic requirement is Customer Price Lists.

    It can be as simple as allowing negative discounts in the Contact Record...a negative discount would increase the price instead of discounting it.

    Every Item Currently has a default 'Sale Price'.

  9. Ability to set reminders/notifications to raise next invoice in Xero Projects

    When raising the quote, which details the scheduled dates that the customer will be invoiced, it would be useful if you could set a reminder/notification on the project to tell you when to prepare and send the next invoice out.

  10. Current size limit of attachments able to be sent with invoices is 7MB.
    Businesses that are required to send PODs with their invoices and that are photographs of the POD's reach the limit of the attachment size after 2 or 3 photographs.

    Email limits at the moment through gmail, outlook etc are around 20MB+ so there is a work around, however makes it much easier and more streamlined to send via Xero.

  11. Can you introduce a "void " button please on the invoice listing page. We have dozens of invoices that have not been paid as customer cancelled order but we cannot void them in bulk. We would like to use the checkbox next to the listing of invoices and select "void" to do them all at the same time rather than one by one which we do not have time to do.

    Nice to hear your interest in this, Sarah. While we don't have immediate plans for sending invoice receipts to customers via SMS, as you may have heard we've made steps in this space with sending of invoices via SMS now available to AU customers, and in the works for the US - See my update on this idea.

    We're continuing to expand on this feature for the time being but we'll continue to track interest in your idea here and share if there's any plans made. 🙂

  15. I have a long list of draft invoices, however in the app, I don't know what each one is unless I click on it? Why is the reference not in the heading? This would save a LOT of time for such a small feature.

Current invoice template (as of 26 July 2023) does not allow to automatically populate the customer's VAT number nor make reference to reverse charge, as is required by Council Directive 2006/112/EC of 28 November 2006 on the common system of value added tax, Section 4 "Content of invoices", Article 226, paragraphs (4) and (11).

    Current template means we need to remember to fit in those details in the services description since there is no way to add a note on the invoice itself.

  20. Add a Pay-To Name that is different than the name of the Vendor. Explanation: I have a handful of Vendors who have hired out billing companies like Wells Fargo to handle their Accounts Receivable. In Xero I only get to name the Contact by the Pay-To Name which is very messy and meaningless when adding invoices and matching invoices to Vendors.For my business this is an urgent matter that needs to be addressed. *As a retailer, I only do accounts payable.
