  1. Could we have the ability to update timesheets each payrun from and excel spreadsheet.
    This is so that admin staff can data enter timesheet information without necessarily having access to the payroll system. This is also in the case of Company's who do not want the Xero Me function.

    With improvements to XeroMe our intention is to make it simpler for employees to self enter this sort of information. 

    Is there a particular reason why you'd prefer not to use this function? Would be good to be able to share this back with our team or perhaps there's another idea I could be connecting you in with here 

  2. Better documentation for BankAccountNumber needed.

    The documentation for importing contacts is not clear, specifically how to include banking details.

    First time users, such as myself, could be greatly assisted if the documentation for the BankAccountNumber was described as <bsb><space><account number>.

    I did a large number of documentation and Google searches before it clicked that the BSB and account number are both specified in the BankAccountNumber field. This is not obvious.

  4. Project reports are very difficult to follow and understand. The ability to click a transaction and open the source is not possible unlike all standard Xero reports. A Profit and Loss by project is crucial. Project transactions need to be combined into the audit trail so that standard reports can be ran to include project information.

  5. NZ Payroll - I would like a report that shows annual leave taken, any adjustments made to the leave balance and a final total of leave owing. I do not think there is anywhere that shows if an change has been made to someone's leave balance

    i. with all capital letters

    ii. date format "01/01/2023"

  7. I am looking for a way to view a value for the supplier or customer transaction as a total value not as individual lines in the vat201 report. For example. I have 3 line transactions in 1 customer invoice, so it shows these three separately. I dont want to view it like that, I want to view it as a complete value, so we can double check the whole invoice as opposed to going to the invoice and looking line through line, which is extremely time consuming

  8. Bank Reconciliation - Match Does Not Work with Contact Account Numbers

    The ability to search by contact account numbers when matching bank transactions is essential as most deposits on the bank statements are referenced with the client/customer account number only. The bank reconciliation ignores contact account numbers in totality.

  9. I would like to have my monthly subscription invoices in EUR instead of the standard USD invoices that Xero Global issues. There are a lot of European countries that fall under Xero Global by default but paying these invoices makes us incur unnecessary bank charges due to FX. Please amend and let us decide on the invoicing currency for our subscriptions.

In the new contact view, everything is spread out, with lots of wasted white space (similar to the bills list without 'compact view' toggled, or the list of repeating bills (which doesn't have the ability to be compact in view). I can deal with the info I need to pick a transaction to open being on complete opposite sides of a widescreen by pulling the contact into a new window and reducing the width of that window until it's readable without excessive twisting of the head (a poor workaround for an ergonomics risk, but it's the only one I could…

    Appreciate there are more settings that you'd like to expand the use of the Credit Limit for, Joyce. 

    In lieu of change in the direct feature atm, one way to prevent further invoices from being raised for a contact could be to set their limit to the amount of the invoice due which would stop all future invoices for the contact being raised.

  13. My client has started using Projects which I'm finding not easy to use.

    We would like to assign bills directs to projects in Hubdoc.

    I also want to be able to give my client a list of bills that haven't been assigned. I can see this in bills to pay but its not printable/ exportable and there is no report that will give me this information.

    I would also like to include direct spends from bank feed instead of having to create a bill just so we can see its not assigned

  18. Currently fixed asset reports have to be run separately and there is no ability to add these into an existing report like the notes to the financial statements. It is reasonably standard to include a table in the notes that summarises cost, depreciation charged, accumulated depreciation and net book value for both the current year and the year prior.

    Requesting the functionality to pull this data from Xero into a report, rather than either having to run two separate fixed assets reports (one for each year) or a manual table where figures are typed in and manually added.

  19. Fixed asset schedules are pretty standard and the information we need to include is pretty standard.

    The current functionality in Xero does not allow columns to be group together so we get a fixed asset schedule report with a lot of columns that is quite wide and squished up.

    This idea is to add functionality to allow columns to be added together i.e. additions and disposals, depreciation rate and method, to condense the report and allow a more polished version to be created for included within annual financial statements.

  20. I need the ability to be able to print an expense report to provide to a client that includes all of the supporting documentation. All of the receipts are captured via Xero Expenses app but I can't print a report that includes them. To provide that information to my client...I had to screen shot every receipt and them insert them into a Word document. This isn't a workable solution. Please add this report.
