  1. Payroll - Leave Liability Report to include Time in Lieu or Time Banked. For Companies that choose to offer Time in Lieu to their employees, this will be extremely helpful for reporting purposes. Also if it was available in Excel would be great. Thanks.

  2. Bulk delete/mark inactive pay items. We use deputy Awards integration and every time an award is updated we have to delete/inactivate so many pay items.

  3. When doing a catch up job it takes forever to have to click into each pay run then back into pay employees and repeat. It would be great to be able to tick each one on the payroll > pay employees screen and then submit all at once.

  4. Customisation of ETP preferences to allow drop down menu for rate of pay as only lump sum payment is currently available. Example: terminated employee to receive 2 weeks pay in Lieu of notice. It would be helpful to have the option for Rate per Unit rather than a Fixed Amount only

  7. Timesheet Tap n Go Widget for Mobiles

    The Xero Me app is fine for leave and payslips, but it's not the best for end-user timesheet input or management. Sure it works and links to the pay system, but from an end user experience it's behind other timesheet apps as users have to log in to then manually enter times.

    However, with a one-touch "tap n go" widget employees could put on their mobile devices (they already download Xero Me ) so they simply tap to input (check-in) the current time and tap to end (check-out).

  8. Turn off rounding in payroll deductions and superannuation in Pay Template. Is it possible to turn off rounding for payroll deductions in pay templates, as we have defined benefit member salary sacrifice percentage rates that are more than two decimals and Xero automatically rounds down or up which creates the designated ATO rate lower or higher than specified. Also payroll deduction amounts for Novated Leasing for pre and post tax amounts are rounding down or up to an amount which then we will have to create a journal later to fix the incorrect amount being direct debited from our bank…

  9. Before the update there were two greyed out boxes, when hovered over revealed the employee full salary and earnings to date - this was very handy when the salaries are based on an hourly rate. Where has this function gone? and can we have it back please.

  10. Update details for STP2
    I would like to be able to select all employees and update these details in bulk rather than having to do them individually which is time consuming especially when you have a large number of employees.

  11. Update the monthly payroll to calculate based on the number of work hours in the month, rather than taking the yearly salary / 12 / number work hours. Given that each month has a different number of work days, the pay rate changes every month and this is a compliance issue.

  12. One of my clients has hundreds of employees and at present when processing an unscheduled pay run, I have to keep clicking through the pages to find the employee. It would be so much quicker to be able to search for an employee within the Draft Payrun to then select to add.

  13. Currently leave requests must be approved before the relevant pay run is commenced.

    If we discover that leave needs to be added at any point after the pay run is commenced, the entire pay run must be deleted, along with any progress made.

    When processing payroll for businesses, I occasionally discover leave should be included only while I'm actually processing the pay run.

    I'd like to have a clone of the leave creation UI as an option while within the pay run process itself. This would show leave balances for the employee, and only have an option to Approve or…

  15. It would be very useful to have a report that shows at a glance when each employee last had a pay rise. Like an extra column in the Employee Remuneration Report. Or an audit report that shows the history of pay changes for all employees in one place.

  16. I would love to see superannuation opening balances split into two sections. One flows through to the superannuation payment section to be paid, and the other just remains on the balance sheet. As an example, we have a new client who has not paid any superannuation YTD, we have already prepared superannuation shortfall forms for 2 quarters, and the balance is to be paid this quarter.   17. Currently all transactions from the Payroll Journal will pull through to the Cash Summary Report.

    A suggestion to add a function within Xero Payroll to exclude the Xero payroll journal from showing on the cash report.

  18. I recently issued a payroll auto enrolment letter to an employee by email through Xero, but the employees record did not show that the email had been sent.

    When I raised this with Xero support they confirmed that currently you are not able to see if or when the document was sent. This means that you have no record of having issued this information, which is a legal requirement.

  19. Ability to change our PAYG Withholding period to weekly. Only options are None, Monthly or Quarterly. The ATO requires we lodge and pay PAYGW weekly now and this is not possible in Xero. We have to change our PAYGW period to None so that it does not show on the BAS and manually calculate, lodge and pay this weekly.

  20. Have the ability to schedule a future date/time for emailing payslips. For example, payroll is done on a Friday for a pay week ending Sunday, and payment is made Monday. It would be preferable to be able to schedule the payslips to be emailed on the Monday to align with the payment date, rather than when the payrun is done. Or relying on memory to go back into the payrun on the Monday to email the payslips.

    There is a similar request for UK Payroll so this is one for AU Payroll.
