    Please can you allow more than 5 reminders, we chase to strict deadlines so 5 isn't enough. Does there need to be a limit?

    Would possibly need to consider the # of communications individual contacts are receiving if you had unlimited reminders. 


    To get a sense of what our customers would be looking for - do you have a # of reminders in mind that would most suit your business, Ryan? 🙂

So we have set up and had a lot of success with email templates in Xero. it would be useful to have the ability to have a default option for each contact (or group of contacts) a specific template for a specific reason eg new invoice or AR. so that everytime we go to email an invoice for example it preloads on a certain template.

    Eg we have a number of clients that only speak read German and/or french so it would be nice to be able to set these contacts to default to use our German and/or French templates…

  4. It would be great if, when viewing a contact, there was a quick 'sign/flag' to show if that contact has an active Direct Debit form.

    Currently you have to go to >Settings >Payment Service >GoCardless >edit >Direct Debit Forms

  5. Could the 'overview' page of the contact show all the contacts/persons associated with a Contact Account, not just the 'first' one?
    We have 2 or 3 contacts/persons on most of our accounts, it would be nice to be able to see their names/emails on the company overview page, rather than having to click into 'Edit' to find these details.

  6. Currently there is very limited information on the contacts main page. All it has is the name and if they owe or we owe. It would be so useful to see if they are allocated to a Contact Group and what date they were added, and perhaps the last transaction (so we can quickly bulk archive contacts that have not been used for a while). This would make contact management so much easier, as currently we need to click into each contact one-by-one which is just not feasalbe, therefore resulting in a contact system which is very unorganised.

  11. Include the option to enter the Registered User's UTR number in CIS verifications as well as the Organisations UTR number which will allow partnerships to be verified - HMRC need both to verify a partnership.

  13. I Also, when will we get the stop function in Xero? I've been asking Xero for 6 years. I know you can restrict invoices by credit limit but, customers could be well under their limit but overdue in paying. A stop function is critical to any accounting system.

  14. Sort 'customer or supplier' list by account number from the drop down menu, (not the same as the search function).
    The account number field is a unique identifier to any customer or supplier record. Having this function should be a necessity as it is with most other software.
    In many cases the account number field is overlooked in Xero from the users point of view, yet it underpins the whole database for many people and connecting software/apps.

  16. On the contacts page you can see the bills and the value, it will either appear with the value in the paid column or the due column unless it has been allocated against a credit. Any allocated credit notes and the invoices they have been allocated to appear as £0.00 in the paid and due column. Now as we have to allocate the credits in order to include them in a bulk payment (a completely pointless time consuming exercise still not addressed by XERO! but lets not get side tracked by another basic function missing) the fact the values are…

  17. Be able to see recurring invoices set up for a client on that client's page. So many times I think to myself "I'm pretty sure I set that up, but did I?" and then I have to go and search in the repeating invoice tab. It would be good to be able to see recurring invoices just on the client page.

  18. Right now, we see average days we pay or receive payment. It would be good if we can have another row that shows us the payment terms we have with the contact so we can benchmark against performance that way. The data is already in Xero, just need to show it.

For businesses who have missed the cut off for lodging superannuation guarantees to the clearing house by the 28th day of the month following end of the quarter, it would be really helpful to have a system-generated reminder to submit their Superannuation Guarantee Charge Statement and penalty payment before the 28th day of the following month. Many businesses are not aware of this penalty, nor the due dates to submit the required report and payment (including obtaining the need to obtain a Payment Reference Number) to the ATO.
