  1. Currently leave requests must be approved before the relevant pay run is commenced.

    If we discover that leave needs to be added at any point after the pay run is commenced, the entire pay run must be deleted, along with any progress made.

    When processing payroll for businesses, I occasionally discover leave should be included only while I'm actually processing the pay run.

    I'd like to have a clone of the leave creation UI as an option while within the pay run process itself. This would show leave balances for the employee, and only have an option to Approve or…

  2. When creating sales invoices in Xero, the cut away remittance slip (or "payment advice") appears at the bottom of the invoice, but if your invoice has several line items and therefore goes over one page, the remittance slip still shows on the first page and makes the invoice look disjointed.

    We have played around with the custom invoice feature but because the remittance slip is in the footer of the invoice template, there doesn't seem to be a way for us to manually change this so that it only appears on the last page.

    If Xero could build this feature…

  3. Xero Projects Reporting - fixed charges to be included in Charge Amount column

    We use Xero Projects in our accounting practice to track time / costs for client billing. We have some clients who are on fixed monthly charges (e.g. $1,000 per month). When viewing the Xero Projects reports to track performance for the month so far, the fixed charges do not appear in the Charge Amount column. It would be beneficial if the fixed charges appears in the Charge Amount column, given they will be charged.

  4. The ability to set a default date range for the tax report in Xero.

    Would love the option to have default to previous month. It's an annoyance to have to set the beginning and ending time each time the report is run.

  5. It would be great to be able to filter the fixed asset list by the various categories but especially by asset type.

    For example, I have 500 assets and am trying to pick out just the Office Equipment to dispose of 30 assets, but I am having to search for each individual asset rather than just look at a list of the Office Equipment.

  6. The mobile app’s new transaction notifications are Bank dependent. Why? You have to write code for every individual bank in the world just so the app will notify a user that a new transaction needs to be reconciled? Rewrite the code so this works automatically for everyone. It’s crazy the way you have it now.

  8. Per the attached screenshot, we are utilising tracking categories to track income and expenditure for two branches of a business with one ABN. Most of the reports can be filtered between tracking categories. I can see no reason that the GST reports should not be able to be filtered by tracking category, or even the Activity Statement report. We should be able to expect this filtering for ABN branches.

  11. Would like to add add decimals (up to 4) in the bank rule feature for the tax rates (otherwise I need to manually change all the amount of my reconciliations which is time consuming).

    For instance at the moment we can input 102.15% but not 102.1451% which is what I would like to have.

  14. There are a lot of businesses in The Philippines that would benefit from bank feeds. Even if you cover BPI, BDO and Union Bank I’m sure they would fund the development costs.

    This combined with BIR accreditation would see XERO as the leading accounting product in a country of over 110 million people.

    Are there specific banks you're connected to and would like to see a feed developed for? It'd be good to get this detail that we can share with our product teams.

    Also to help community members understand exactly what they're supporting, as well as share these back internally with our teams it's best to keep one idea per thread - I've updated the idea here for Bank Feeds for Philippines and we can make this even clearer if you confirm which banks.

  15. It would save a lot of errors if you had an employment type option where once 'casual' was selected as a type, you could only then enter what was needed for casual staff and leave/holiday pay would automatically change accordingly. I have anumber of clients who, when entering new casual staff, inadvertently add hours per day and days per week which then starts the accrual of annual leave and unless they tick the little box under holiday pay, the employee is not paid their 8%.

    Hi team, great to get your feedback and support through the idea here. We appreciate these challenges with the current functionality when setting up a casual employee. We’ve started some work around enabling Xero customers to select Employment Types such as casual. While in early stages at present we’ll keep you updated on progress for this here.

  16. Before the update there were two greyed out boxes, when hovered over revealed the employee full salary and earnings to date - this was very handy when the salaries are based on an hourly rate. Where has this function gone? and can we have it back please.

  17. If a pay increase is implemented across the board then currently, the only way to amend employees salary amount is to enter each record manually. If you have a large number of employees this is extremely time consuming.

    If a salary scale was used and assigned to employee records, it could be uplifted by a percentage and all records would automatically update.

  18. In the Inventory Item Summary report I can customise the report by adding a filter & then searching for a stock item eg a spigot - but there are 100 different types of spigots, & each of them need to be selected individually!!! can we please have a "select all" button???

  20. Have all tasks automatically marked as invoiced (preferably with invoice number) when they have varying hourly rates and times set within the task. Also ability to mark any task manually as invoiced and assign an invoice number if required.
