Customer Statements - Add a Pay Now link
Ability to add a Pay Now link to statements so customers can pay all outstanding bills via the statement they receive.
Purpose: To make it easier for customers to view and pay their outstanding bills and make a bulk payment for all at once.
Hi team, I'm thrilled to confirm that the ability for your customers to pay invoices in bulk from an outstanding customer statement is now live to all customers!
When you email an outstanding statement to a customer it'll now have an option to 'Review and pay' taking them to an online view of the statement, and if you've set up Stripe as a payment service they'll be able to pay you in the moment 😁
Find out more on Xero Central. We thoroughly appreciate everyone's input, feedback and support for this through this product idea 🙏

This is such an important upgrade to Xero. Please look at implementing this urgently, as it seems a lot of people are keen to be able to use this!

Hi Kelly, any further updates on this? It was suggested 12 years ago and your update in February said it was being looked into, would be good to have the option a little bit quicker than the 12 years it took to be considered?

the majority of our customers have lots of small invoices, presently, we are processing 30+ receipts to just one customer each month, our customers would love us more if we could speed up the process of account settlement for them and of course, it would enable us to spend less time reconciling our transactions. This is a much needed improvement that I hope the development team can roll out quickly

It would be fantastic to have our students be able to pay via their statement, instead of individual invoices.

Our customers who have a particularly large amount of invoices each month find it cumbersome to pay invoices off individually. It would be an I dea where the customer could highlight each invoice they wish to pay and make one credit card payment, in our case through Stripe

we send invoices from a different system to our customers, but as we send out statements ex Xero and reconcile all payments in Xero, the function to have the pay it now on our statements would be extremely beneficial.

We have numerous small charges that our customers pay. These are often fx transactions and not viable for credit cards as the charges make it uneconomic. We are constantly asked if the payment can be made for multiple invoices.

+1 vote for this feature - I remember looking for instructions years ago - I was actually searching for how you add the link into your statements but found this.... wow ... Oct 4, 2012 ( i remember 2012 )

Looking at the chain of comments, and how long this has been going I have to start to wonder if this is worth the effort.
Xero clearly do not want to listen to us.

we have customers who has more than 1 invoices to pay and it annoys them to have to click individual payment link. We need the payment link in the statement

We have numerous customers who prefer to pay all their outstanding invoices in one card payment. As this option is already on individual invoices it seems to make sense to me to add it onto the statements too

This would be a very welcome addition and is another crucial touchpoint for prompting customer payment. Massively beneficial and very easy I would imagine to write into the program. #makeithappenxero!

Hello all,
I raised this with Xero in April 2023 when the prices were increased. After much emailing back & forth & some conversations with the customer support team I received an email from Richie in the Leadeship team who stated it wasn't part of their near term plans. As it was first raised in 2012, this does seem very poor.
I have recently posted on LinkedIn about this idea as well as the requirment to be able to have different user access levels (other than the all or nothing currently avaliable) If you want to also add your voice to this, hopefully they may be more inclined to listen on that platform? https://www.linkedin.com/feed/update/urn:li:activity:7159090871684988928/ -

This is essential in this day and age. Come on Xero and make our lives just that little bit easier chasing invoices for time-poor and cash flow-conscious businesses.
