Reporting - Set report to print on one page
Ability to set reports to print on one page.
Purpose: To have a better visual and save more papers, as currently some reports can come out more than 1 page.
Hey Community,
As part of our reports refresh, we’ve updated how reports look when printing directly from your browser - removing the larger margins mentioned in some of the comments.
Generally, we’d recommend either exporting to PDF or, as Russel has mentioned, exporting to an excel file for further refinement before printing.
However, if you do print directly from your browser, you’ll now find that the report is correctly aligned to the left of the page 😊
Thanks again for all your feedback around this idea!

A simple button that allows reports to print on one page. Xero would change the font size to allow the page to fit. Normally it is one line that doesn't quite fit on the page

It is really frustrating to see a single report in multiple pages. There should be an option to manage page layout.

Currently we use many seemingly unneeded steps fo format reports.

Ditto to all the earlier frustrations.
- I have spent a lot of time trying to find how to modify (or at least reduce) the margins on reports so that they do not waste space, unnecessarily add an extra page, squish too much in the area available etc.
- I (wrongly) assumed it would have been a "given" for otherwise user friendly but sophisticated and widely used software like Xero.
- You cannot even adjust column widths within the report which would in many cases avoid the spillover :-( -

Able to change page layouts on reports that are printed to pdf.
Sometimes the balance sheet or profit and loss will flow over to two page and prints in landscape. I would like to have an option to change the page layout so that all columns and rows print onto one page -

I agree, margins are too large when exporting to pdf.

Have they fixed this? The margins on the reports are way to large!

Have that few people thought this was important? The margins are ridiculous! I wonder if everyone is doing what we're doing which is exporting to Excel to get around what should be a simple problem to solve.

Yes, margins are way too big. It would be great if I was able to adjust these to suit. My P&L is printing on two pages - with only the net profit line showing on page two!

I have one line from the balance sheet that basically says go somewhere else (beneficiary reports) on its own page. The margins are too large. Please fix!

Agreed.
Currently reports like PnLs come out as two pages because the margins are insanely huge.
