AU Payroll: Employees - Emergency Contacts and Emergency contact report
Ability to add employee’s emergency contacts and export it.
Purpose: Users can have their employee’s emergency contact in case they need to contact them.

I am looking for this as well - need to be able to provide emergency contact details to senior staff in case there is an incident.
Also would be helpful to be able to download bank details so we can upload them to our bank account - to help pay expenses, and to provide a fall back incase of a Xero outage - which did happen on pay day July 30 2024!!

This is a serious WHS flaw, all you need to do is add the emergency contact to the employee contact report.

So this has been an idea since 2022.... When will it actually be available? Manually extracting this data is ridiculous!

Employee suffered a seizure, the employer had to manually find onbarding form to contact emergency contact. Why have the details in Xero if we cannot provide list to our clients?

Totally agree. Any HR/payroll system should be able to download all employee details into a report. Xero should extend the Employee Contact Details Report so it includes the emergency contact information too.

Would also be helpful if we could do this for all employee data really. Position titles, bank details, the lot. -

it's great that staff can record their emergency contact details, but if only the payroll admin function can read them, it's completely useless in an emergency! Either have a way of extracting, or a way of allowing more people to see these details without making them a payroll admin please

I like to have a Emergency Contact Report for Staff to be able to access when there is an emergency situation and I am not in the Centre.

Totally agree with all of the below comments. I am trying to export a Staff emergency contacts list for our new H & S officer, but I can't see any way to do this.

It would be handy if the emergency contacts could be added to the employee contact details report as a selectable column

This report should be available - in fact most items that are updated in payroll should be able to have a report assigned to them. Xero is a database so someone should be able to write a SQL promptly and service clients rather than having them jump hurdles and/or keep another record of such details on a spreadsheet - of their own information.

Surprised that the exportable employee details report can't be customised to include the emergency contact details. We are trying to move away from maintaining a separate spreadsheet, and all the information is in Xero so it would make sense to be able to export with the emergency contact details.

We need to add more drop down menu on " Employee Contact Detail Report" so we can customize the report as the management requested, such as emergency person and contact number.

Also the ability to add more than 1 emergency contact in case the primary contact number is unavailable.

We had an emergency at work and found it would be very handy to have an exported copy of emergency contacts. I've since compiled the list, but it took FOREVER!!!
