If we aren't going to have the ability to set up repeating spend/receive money transactions then we need to be able to post journals to bank accounts.

We're all aware that Xero can suggest entries from the bank feed, but that isn't enough. You advertise as a platform for small business owners, which is probably why some features like bank journals aren't available, to stop people accidentally messing up their books. That would be fine, but you also advertise as being for accountants and bookkeepers, and we need access to these features in order to do our job effectively. The amount of time I've wasted figuring out workarounds in Xero is ridiculous, compared to Sage which gives me full control.

We have different access levels for different users. Could there be a new access level for accountants and bookkeepers, which allows us to post journals to bank accounts?

Completely ridiculous that this has not been enabled. I've been forced to change to Xero from QuickBooks... QuickBooks is a million times better, and cheaper!!!

Come on Xero, pull your socks up, you've just raised prices, raise your features with it!

Repeating/recurring transactions of all types could be implemented and create more streamlined data processing. I was very disappointed to find the xero doesn't have this basic capability.

Do any of these ideas ever get implemented, this is probably the 6th one I have either instigated or joined in and none seem to have been agreed to?

Each one of these missing features makes using Xero more longwinded than it needs to be and makes you regret moving from rival software....

The ability to setup repeating and receive money transactions is absolutely critical and is a huge waste of time to have to copy prior transactions.

For smaller subscription transactions like Adobe, Microsoft, etc. where you do not enter/pay a bill because it is automatically charged to your bank or cc - it would be helpful to have a repeating spend money transaction. Otherwise, every single month, each one of these transactions have to be copied.

Not having this facility is wasting so much input time.

I am here just waiting for Xero to add this feature, what a relief if would be for me!!

Comeon Xero you just put your price up!! You dont have half the features the others do for this kind of transaction. Wouldnt mind being able to journal to bank account, sometimes its just necessary.

This feature would be great, particularly for the bank accounts that do not have bank feeds e.g. Mastercard.

This would seem to be a basic function that should be available. Looking forward to it being added for those regular spend and receive moneys.

So frustrating , Xero should be able to do this easily!

I want to migrate a client from QB to Xero but until this feature is available I am hesitant to do so since the ability to post recurring receive money transactions is critical to the work I do for this organisation and will cost me a lot of time compared to QB. Really surprised that Xero doesn't offer this pretty basic functionality when even junk software like QB does.....

This would be so helpful to have for recurring payments that are allocated to multiple expense accounts!

I would use this feature multiple times daily as have multiple entities to reconcile
