UK Payroll: Support for HSBC BACS payment files without a service user name
Add a template another file option for payroll. HSBCnet allows file uploads with a SUN however as Xero does not have this template it means only options is to apply for a SUN and increase costs of paying our payroll. We need a file that accommodates ACH CR BACs (non-SUN) files. Requirement is Xero payroll ERP configure the file without a SUN then please ask them to do so, as it should be identical to the one we have tested for supplier payments, meaning the word ‘HSBC’ should be quoted on the VOL1 line and the areas where the SUN is present currently would be blank space filled.

I would agree with the above but for other banking platforms too (Natwest being the bank we use)

Enable the export of BACS standard 18 file for upload to HSBC systems for payments - the current file format has to be edited for missing zeros using a text editor
