GoCardless - GoCardless as a Bank Feed
As the old 'GoCardless for Xero' integration is no longer being developed.
And the new 'GCiX' GoCardless as a payment service integration is even less functional.
Stripe, Paypal, Tyro and eWay all have bank feeds.
We need a functional bank feed for GoCardless.

I was able to write an app within a few hours to pull all the infomation that would be required to create a 'bank feed' from the GoCardless API.
As for the obtuse Xero API, there is no ability push 'bank feeds' or write new entries into 'bank accounts'.
I've previously spoken the Xero about their API imitations, which some feture are apparently only available to select partners.
Surely a Xero dev would be faster than me a part-time basic level programer. Surly they could get this task completed and tested in 1-2 hours.I've given up on GoCardless + Xero. It does not work

We are going to Gocardless from Stripe and not having a bank feed is so backward. I am currently working from 3 spreadsheets, as we have 13 different files coming into the one Go cardless account.

We would also like a direct bank feed from GoCardless to Xero to save time importing GoCardless transactions into Xero.

This is a great idea. Currently we have to download payments and upload as csv files before manual reconciliation. Most of our donors pay monthly via GoCardless so it would be a significant time-saver. Thanks

We are also finding this a problem. How do we match them as a bank etc?

The older "Gocardless 4 Xero" app is till available in the xero app store, and it still works for a colleague of mine, so it should be a matter of moments to implement.

Really need this. The older "GoCardless 4 Xero" app which does this is still listed in teh Xero app store, but tryng to install it diverts to the payment service installation.
Please could we just have a choice of installing the original app, or the recommended payment service, instead of teh automatic divert.
This could make it clear that the app is not supported through Xero and people should only install this rather than the payment service if there is a have a good reason to! -
