  1. When you update the inventory selling price of an item you expect that this is reflected when a repeated invoice is generated. This is not currently the case. The price is ONLY updated when you edit the repeated invoice. Please have an option box on the repeated invoice that allows inventory price updates on generation. Currently waste hours and hours and make mistakes every time an inventory item changes price. Logged support cases about this for years but trying here now. Huge time saver.

  2. Delivery Address:

    To have the ability to add a delivery address when raising an invoice that can be printed onto the invoice. This would need to permanently save the delivery address to that invoice. When a new invoice to the same customer is raised then have the ability to enter another delivery address if required without effecting the previous invoice delivery address.

  3. Inventory - We are considering switching to Xero from Sage50, but have come across the issue of not being able to add an inventory item's "Bin Location" to the packing slip. We could include the bin location in the description of the item, but we don't want this to appear on the customer invoice. We only want the item's location to appear on the Packing Slip for the warehouse operatives to locate the items easily.

  5. We publish a large quantity of bills from Hubdoc to Xero. To implement a purchase order system we will need to be able to link these bills from Hubdoc to Purchase orders created in Xero. Otherwise Hubdoc is not really of use to us and will make the work load more.

  6. It would be good to be able to set a mark up margin for loaded products and services. This way when our cost goes up we could just alter the cost price and it would automatically adjust the sale price rather than us having to work it out for every item and load it manually.

  7. Repeating Invoices - ability to copy existing repeating invoice.

    Reasons:
    - Temporary Discount rewards (Scenario 1 below)
    - Previously agreed future price changes
    - Similar fee package for another client on a recurring basis

    Scenario 1
    - Client signs an ongoing recurring contract Monthly Fee = $1,000 (for illustration purposes):

  8. Hi People, I run a report where I can match my XPM clients to the ATO report. However, since the single client record merger, my reports in XPM have been detecting the Blue Xero files. In other words, the report cannot exclude the Xero Blue files in HQ.

    This is a nuisance because, as practitioners, we need to ensure the currency of our client reports. Can you please create a field that excludes the unrelated data being pulled into the report?

    Please can you display the combined chart of accounts account code with the CoA description in the account column as you do on in the classic view, rather than us needing to click on the description that shows in the column, so the account code then also shows.

  11. Add in the ability to add margin to the hours that can be set in Projects. It's all well and good that I can assign hours to someone, but not so great that I can't add a profit margin to this.

    Also, the ability to populate estimated costs automatically (literally the same amount and same name of the expense as the estimated cost) with the click of a button so I can invoice out for all costs at the end of a project.   12. Sales tax code for Products & Services SKUs "Item Name"

    When you export the list of items from Products & Services you get a CSV with the fields:
    ItemCode ItemName SalesUnitPrice SalesAccount SalesTaxRate InventoryAssetAccount CostOfGoodsSoldAccount

    However, there is no field for "Sales tax code" which is used when you're leveraging AutoTax lookup integration with Avalara. Therefore, as we're converting to using AutoTax, we have ~700 SKUs here that we have to manually update ONE BY ONE!!!!

    This is insane. Why is this field not able to be edited in bulk like every other field?

  13. Create an undo or revert option for edits made to invoices. We can already see the history of changes made to an invoice, so why can't there be a option to undo or revert to a previous revision of the invoice?

  14. After sending out an Invoice and it has been paid, it would be useful if that invoice could have an additional status, indicating (1) that the goods have been "despatched", then (2) later as "delivered"

    Similarly, on a Bill, After the bill has been paid, it ships, and it would be useful if the bill could be marked as (1) shipped then (2) later as "received".

    And in both cases, there is an associated shipping document, such as Air Waybill Number and associated shipping agency. The AWB can be further enhanced to provide a link to the tracking service provided…

  15. Xero Expenses - In multicurrency expenses there is currently no ability to add more than one image/PDF to an expenses claim.
    We have many employees who travel for long periods of time or for certain jobs and need to be able to submit one large expense claim with multiple line items and also provide a photo/PDF of receipts for each of these items. But currently you can only upload one image per expense claim.

    On top of this there is no ability to set a different currency as the default currency for specifics employees which would be a helpful feature…

  16. Our company has locations in in London, France, Germany, and the US and has a Xero entity set up for each.

    I onboarded all employees to Xero Expenses 2 months ago and staff are happy with the mechanics of the process.

    The challenge I have is the approval hierarchy. All expense approvals sit with me. This needs to change as each line manager/ department/ team head should be responsible for approving their teams’ expenses.

    We have a tracking option for “Department” which can be used to pool employees in their respective teams.

  18. When typing a quote, available stock used to show (when you typed a figure in the "quantity" field (if available stock was less than required the open window would turn red) but it doesn't now. It would be great if this feature were also added to invoices (and quotations as before) so that one didn't need to check stock on a different page for each item being invoiced. I note that it shows when typing a credit note, so it must be possible!

  20. It would be great if the Contact Name placeholders could populate the name of the individual person receiving the email rather than just the primary person for a contact.

    ex. I have a contact name for a child with the primary person being Parent 1 and additional person being Parent 2. Would love if the Contact Name placeholders could address the email to each Parent 1 and Parent 2 independently instead of just addressing Parent 1 in both emails.
