Ability to export and import quotes in Xero.

Purpose: Because putting quotes in/from a spreadsheet can make users better calculate future cash flow.

    Like I mean is there any point in voting! But I would have used this now if it was available - really surprising it's not.

    Ability to upload a quote from csv, you can do it for an invoice but not for a quote. It's very clunky having to upload an invoice and then copy back to quote form.

    This would be really useful to have this feature, especially where using specialist software that generates Proformas to be able to import these would save a lot of hassle.

    When I receive a quote by email from another Xero user I'd like to be able to import it to create a purchase order and/or a quote to one of my customers (with appropriate markup).

    I see that some documents from other Xero users CAN be imported so why not quotes which would be especially useful. Currently we have to copy/paste text which it is tedious, time-consuming and error-prone.

    Like a lot of other people and google posts suggest. This has been requested for over 5 years now and nothing has been done to make this happen.
    Xero obviously do not take these polls and request seriously!!

    You're wasting your time supporting or voting for these - Xero do not give a flying f about anything unless it's accountant led. The automatic emailing of customer votes has been going on for over a decade, this ones only a young pup at a decade. They're not the Xero of old - time to look for alternatives.

    This is highly important for our client. His larger customers are requesting quotes in an Excel file instead of a PDF so they can directly enter the data into their system. He mentioned that all major businesses are now making this request.

    This is important - needed when transferring information from one xero account to another. Eg starting a new xero file for the same company, or someone selling their business as a going concern and needs to have all the outstanding quotes set up in the new owner's xero.

    This is so important when you are growing and creating a new sub company! The last thing I have time for is redoing items that already exist....

    Even just to be able to copy columns of data between exel and xero would suffice

    Would like to be able to import bulk quotes as we wish to use the quotes as a pro forma invoice to collect prepayment for services.

    Ability to export quote lines to Excel. This would enable checking and comparing subtotals. As well as sorting product codes on the quote for the number of products quoted. I would in the past copy what was on my screen and paste in excel but as the site gets more advanced this no longer works.

    Whilst I like some of the functionality you get from Quotes, like the ability to generate invoices straight from the Quote, it does fall short in many ways, like to stages, reporting is poor and the quote is very basic, which isn't so good when sent to clients.

    I was hoping to import from a CSV, or via an API link, an there has to be a way.

    I am doing a myob conversion and this is a vital part of the clients process. I will now need to enter manually

    This is a critical feature should clients be converting from an alternative software to Xero. There's no chance I or my client are sitting and entering sales orders/quotes manually (especially when there are hundreds!)
