    If an issue is found with an invoice after it has been approved reverting to draft will prevent accidental payment. It doesnt happen often but the option to Dispute an invoice would be good too.

    Hi community, we'd like to confirm that enabling phone numbers to be stored against additional people within a contact record is not something we have plans to develop at this time. This may be a function we look to explore in the long-term so we're still interested to get a clearer understanding of users that'd like to see this developed, and will continue to track this through the conversation here. If there's any change we will let you know on on this idea.

    currently I have to put the first and last name into the first name field so that I can record their phone number in the last name field.

    I find that xero doesnt do a very good job of identifying which contacts are which it would be nice to be able to specify.

    This would hugely simplify updating product prices. This would also mean that we wouldnt have to be as clever with the product code conventions to try and differentiate between which products are from where. Even if it was just an extra field on the product details that didnt tie to anywhere but came up on the export of products it would be useful.

    Our business sells the good before importing them as well. Having this functionality would enable us to use the inventory function. As long as there was a way to zero negative stock manually this would be amazing.

    Thanks for your comments and emphasis on the bills side of things for the idea here. I've made sure this is shared with our team in this space.

    Bills is an area we're continuing to develop with building on beautiful and I'll be sure to let you know here if there's any consideration made to change behaviour of this through the bills add and edit flow.

    It would be better if the products were able to be edited from Quote documents. Since we almost always start with a Quote. This is in response to being able to edit items from invoice lines.

    Hi community, some time passed since our last update in the thread here we do want to return and share - while our product teams explored possibilities for how we might represent Purchase Orders in Projects research has confirmed that there is underlying work needed to the platform Purchase Orders are built on before we can achieve any good outcomes of your needs here.
    We have enthusiasm and a close eye remaining on the support for this, but want to be honest that this is not something that we’ll be able to focus our attentions on in the near future.
    Once we have completed work first needed in the Purchase Orders space we can reassess how to integrate purchase Orders into Projects and will update you all of steps forward, here.

    Export a Quote to Excel.
    Some documents (like Bills) in Xero you can simply highlight the text on the screen and copy and paste to excel. Sadly this is not the case with Quotes. Especially on quotes that have many line items it would be great to be able to pull it into Excel to check things and make notes and sort columns.

    Hi everyone, we appreciate wanting the ability to assign files to the project itself. While this isn't something we have planned right now we'll keep tracking the interest through the idea here. 


    To highlight, though not currently available on the Project directly, it's possible to attach files to the individual transactions within a project e.g a Bill, Invoice, Spend money or Expense. i

    Along with this, you may also find it useful to create folders within your Files library where you can collect all files related to a specific project for ease of reference. 

    Understand this isn't the ideal solution, but may help some for now 🙂

    Hi community, we understand your needs in this feature and want to assure you were taking on board all your feedback. 

    As many of you accustom to this idea will know, multiple addresses requires a complex solution. It's been something we’ve been moving towards for some time and we’ve done a lot of back end work that will allow us to bring it to you in the future. 

    We have 12 different products within Xero that rely on contact data, as well as many of our app partners. This means that contacts need to seamlessly flow across technology, products and all connections on Xero. And that’s exactly what we’ve been working on. 

    One of the reasons we announced the retirement of classic invoicing is because many of the features being asked for, just can’t be brought into classic invoicing. The old technology has too many technology limitations to enable this.…
