  1. When notes run over two pages - fix formatting so that if a note runs over two pages, it automatically creates a page break so that it appears together.

    I understand there are already page breaks, but it is diffcult to know as each client is different what notes are requried and and such you need to export to PDF many, many times, before the formatting is correct.

  2. A 'Date Added' field would be great, to show when a client was entered into an XPM account.

    It would also be good to add this as a client report criteria, so you can filter dates.

  3. Can we please customise client page on XPM to add a column for the Account Manager. We currently see the Client NAME, PH NUMBER, and ADDRESS. Can we please add Account Manager to the page?
    It would cut out a lot time when processing morning mail or directing phone calls from clients as this would mean we don't have to open the client file to see who they belong to.

  4. When there is a Managed Fund distribution on the prefill, the distribution is automatically entered into the Managed fund distribution worksheet. If there is no figure, it pulls through a $0.00 which leads to a $0.00 at the primary producer label L. This then automatically triggers the income averaging to which you manually have to OPT out of. Please fix this issue.

  5. Have display name/preferred name field for trusts too. Some trusts have the same name. It will be good to be able to identify them from displayed name rather than having to go through the contacts or group page. We just need to put in a bracket at the back of their trust display name the group it belongs to.
    Can have the actual entity name somewhere else.

  6. In XPM at the moment a Client is either "Active" or "Archived". The relationships function could be extremely powerful if we have the ability to add a "non client" in order to use them to define a relationship. For example, at the moment we can only add directors to a company where the directors are also clients. For us it means that our relationships are on average only 50% complete as on average only 50% of the related parties are also clients with us.

  7. Timesheet view and function similar to outlook calendar. Where it shows your timesheet entries like meetings on your calendar.

    1. It would be quick and easy to identify gaps you are missing
    2. Being able to drag them to extend or reduce entries
    3. Being able to copy and paste an entry. Make for faster input.

  8. Currently, if I am looking at a Workpaper and I click on the Flag next to an account, I can add a Review Point for that account.

    That review point shows up in the list at the bottom of the workpaper.

    If I click the flag next to the account, I can see the review points that have been added to that account... but I can't see the replies to those review points and nobody can reply to them from that area.

    I have to scroll down to the bottom to reply to the review point.

  10. Have the ability to create more than one report style (colour and logo) so when you export to a 'Styled PDF' there are choices beyond 'no styling' and your default.

  11. Suggestion for development - We continually have problems with WFF transfers to associated entities. We have tried phoning IRD to put a halt on the account, then follow up with secure mail advising what transfers are required - however more often than not the halt is not implemented correctly. Would be great if Xero could implement something (even a tick box identifying transfers required) that would then trigger at IRD for them to hold funds pending transfer. Alternatively the WFF credit could be added into the tax returns, and transfers done via the return. (I have worked with other tax…

  12. I'd love to have the ability to get XPM to email clients once their returns are lodged to confirmed it has been done. So many clients ask for confirmation and emailing each one takes time, a simple email from xero would be great.

  13. I would like a tax screen similar to the jobs, where I can see clients tax return status, taxes owing and overdue returns. It would be useful to have the option to update a client's return to show as not required or Auto Assess.

  15. HUBDOC Sorting Alphabetical Feature needed PLEASE. Wishing to request an extra sort option under the "Sort by" button above the "Processing", "Review", "Failed", "Archived" tabs. Currently we have "Upload Date", "Bill Date", "Due Date" & "Amount" options. We create a statements folder for each month and when we're trying to check off the statements with whats in Xero report that is sorted by alphabetical order it would be practical.   16. Add the option for differing annual leave allowances (weekend rates) that deduct from the overall annual leave accrual.

    Currently the workaround Xero has advised is setting up a "weekend annual leave" leave type with the correct leave loading for weekends and manually adjusting the leave accrual.

    Alternatively, a possible solution is adding an allowance leave type "O" for reporting.

  17. Currently if you are using auto-sync hubdoc will only allow either purchases or credit notes from suppliers, but not both. If auto-sync is set to purchases then credit notes uploaded are posted as bills, and vice-versa.

    Particularly for high volume customers it would be useful if Hubdoc could differentiate between them and post them appropriately on auto-sync.

  19. Remove CTR validation error for label 10A when entering 0 directly into the main label which is required when using temporary full expensing under the simplified depreciation rules. Instead you are required to create a nil schedule to remove this error and report correctly which is pointless.
