  1. Whilst this currently auto calculates, there is no calculation in Xero to confirm the return has the correct amount. This has to be checked manually, which can leave room for errors and requires extra work by users. It would be more efficient if the system could check this.

  3. This would reduce the number of duplicated payments - where clients pay the ATO under a Super Charge Statement, then pay again through Xero super once staff fund details become available.

  4. Have a separation of Client Edit privileges to allow practice staff to edit Contacts, Groups, and Relationships without having full edit access (e.g. will not be able to edit client address, email address, Agent, etc)

  6. It'd be extremely helpful to have a field available for any type of client where a registered business name can be recorded, and if the business name is searched in the client list, the entity that the business name is recorded against shows up.

    For example, if Joe Bloggs Pty Ltd owns the business name Bloggs Flowers, we could search for Bloggs Flowers in XPM and Joe Bloggs Pty Ltd would show up.

  7. A function within Find and Recode that can split code each transaction by a percentage.

    This could be an additional button next to the Recode button called "Split" which brings up a pop-up window like Recode does.

  9. When editing a report in the financial statements, it would be great if there was an option to preview just that page and not the whole document. Ie if editing balance sheet , have the option to open a pdf of just that page ( but keep the whole doc on a sept PDF- so two options)
    Would just be so much faster to preview the actual page I'm working on, and not having to wait for the whole document to open, than scroll/find the bal sheet

  10. It would be a great help if you could insert a field into the activity page which includes the property address that the invoice is for, so that this would be clear which property the invoice relates to rather than having to go into each invoice to see which property it is for.

  11. Every year we have to manually create tax returns for each client - would be great if the client is listed as an existing client on both XPM and ATO that XPM can bulk create the tax returns for that relevant year run. This would cut down a lot of admin time.

  13. Currently there is no option to create a worksheet behind the trust distribution income at 6E, when completing company tax returns with a trust distribution income (eg from investments). You need to enter the gross distribution at 6E and record attached franking credits separately in the calculation statement at 'Refundable tax offsets'. It creates confusion for some of the junior staff as they can easily put this amount at 7J as franking credits which isn't correct.

  14. The original post is closed, and I need to address the solution provided: https://productideas.xero.com/forums/940636-for-accountants-bookkeepers/suggestions/48187811-au-payroll-employee-summary-filter-by-employee-g

    The solution provided for the removal of filtering by Employee Group in the Payroll Employee Summary report now includes all employee groups ever in existence, including the multiple spellings which have since been fixed, groups deleted after never being used, and archived groups which have not been used in years and will never be used again.

  16. Ability to connect to connect to the ATO and lodge activity statements where connected to multiple practices.
    We can lodge for clients we hold subscriptions for, but not for clients who self subscribe and grant us access.
    Have been advised if you're connected to multiple Xero HQ practices with the same email address and you try to lodge activity statements in Xero with the ATO, you'll get the error message – SBR.GEN.AUTH.006. This is because Xero can't determine which practice you're lodging activity statements in.

  19. Rename "other name" field to "middle name/s", need another field for casual name (say for example people that go by their middle name) and also put first name or casual name on contact details screen that is shown on front screen, currently showing other name for some reason...
