Reports - Show/hide the Report Builder (header) when printing to PDF
Report builder offers the ability to print PDF reports which is great but if needing to use these for external purposes, e.g. a timesheet detail report to supplement an invoice, the criteria/header portion currently has to be printed also. It would be great to have an option to show/hide the criteria/header when printing to PDF.

Practice Manager - add Job Manager and Partner fields to the Invoice Report
In the XPM report builder, when a firm is working as a team based client and each team composed of several staff. It would be beneficial to have the option to include additional fields of the job manager and partner in the invoice report. Currently, we are only able to select the manager and partner at the client level.
If this feature were added, it would enable the accurate generation of reports for each staff member who completes a job and track better if each staff has a KPI of a particular budget that he/she needs to reach each month.

XPM - Job No. Sequence Update after import of .csv file
Currently, when jobs are imported using a .csv file, the job number sequence is not updated and this has to be manually update it once the jobs have been imported.
As jobs will need to be imported in manageable batches, there is room for errors to occur if the job number sequence does not automatically update.
Can this be something that is looked into this coming year?
You will need to manually update it once you've imported all your jobs.

Practice Manager - Ability to see if client has successful ATO connection
Have the ability to allow Partner users to see whether business users have successfully connected their Xero file to the ATO for lodgement of activity statements directly from Xero?

Practice Manager | Add Non-Clients for use in a Relationship
In XPM at the moment a Client is either "Active" or "Archived". The relationships function could be extremely powerful if we have the ability to add a "non client" in order to use them to define a relationship. For example, at the moment we can only add directors to a company where the directors are also clients. For us it means that our relationships are on average only 50% complete as on average only 50% of the related parties are also clients with us.

Practice Manager | Reporting on Job States
I'm looking for a report that shows me job workflow state changes. I'm sure XPM stores this data, but doesn't seem to report on it anywhere.
Essentially, I'd like (for jobs that meet some search criteria, creation date or job name or whatever else):
State changed date
State changed from
State changed to
State changed by userThis is effectively an audit trail on the progress of a job (or ideally, multiple jobs). The fact this can't currently be done (unless Xero Support has pointed me wrong, in which case please do correct me!) is mind blowing!

Practice Manager | Client Reporting - 'Date Added' field
A 'Date Added' field would be great, to show when a client was entered into an XPM account.
It would also be good to add this as a client report criteria, so you can filter dates.

XPM - Automatic birthday messages for clients
Currently XPM does not send automatic birthday messages to clients. It is a very manual process.

Practice Manager - Highlight/banner for notes
I would love to see an improvement with Xero XPM NOTES.
We seem to leave 2 types of notes.
TYPE 1: is URGENT, we want people within the firm to see it and read it. It would be good if you could select this note to be a banner across the top of the clients screen. Similar to how if the client has a debt it shows at the top. (love that function)
TYPE 2: is just an ordinary note that is sufficient with the current design.
It would also be great if you could share notes across multiple clients…

XPM - Default staff checkbox as ticked when allocated to a job
After the recent XPM change where a user can allocate staff to multiple jobs from the Jobs menu, the staff at the Task level are added but the checkbox is not ticked. This means that the staff member can see the job in their timesheet, but not the tasks associated with that job, so cannot book time.
Support have advised they are aware this has changed and do not have a solution to get around this currently, other than manually going into each job and filling the tick box for each staff member for each task. As we create and…

Practice Manager - Make WIP Ledger Write On Amount available in the API
It would be ideal if the "Write On Amount" fields in WIP Ledger reporting within XPM are made available in the API. We leverage multiple systems that need to tack together a formula to measure write offs using the available fields in the API, or cannot include Write On information, so is often inaccurate.

Projects - Assign multiple tasks to employees
In the last week the ability to add multiple tasks to new employees has been taken away, you can still add all jobs but without the ability to add all tasks or some as well that feature is now useless.
please can you tell me why this has been removed and bring it back asap. I have staff unable to complete time sheets at the moment.

Multi-currency - Remove currency
Remove a currecy added in error and never used, which makes reports more complicated than need be (Source AND GBP in every Transaction report, implying we are multicurrency when we never have been)

leads - Existing activities to auto allocate to owner
When we set up a new lead and allocate it to an owner, the activities should auto allocate to the owner, instead it is setting to the responsibility of the admin person setting up the lead resulting in additional time taken to reallocate each of the the activities causing unnessary time consumption

XPM - Include task start and due dates in job imports.
As XPM integrates with FYI workflow, and you can toggle between viewing a workflow by jobs or by task, it would be a massive help if when importing annual compliance job templates with pre-defined tasks, you can define the task start and due date as part of the import and not have to individually go through and update these once the jobs have deployed.

XPM | Files - Integrate shared google drives with XPM
Right now it's not possible to connect XPM to a google drive other than 'My Drive' for a Google Drive user. We hold all our client data on a separate Google workspace drive that is shared within the company and want to connect this client drive, so that tasks and clients on XPM can be linked to client folders or documents in the shared client google drive.
Its not feasible to move those client folders from the shared drive to 'My Drive' in order to access these on Xero practice Manager, and instead we have to paste long link addresses…

Billable Expenses - Feature to flow through to XPM Clients
It would be great if there was a link between the billable expenses in Xero and XPM that would allow for billable expenses assigned to a client to be created as a cost in XPM. We currently add these manually as a cost on the job.
