    HI Sally, jumping back on your idea here our team are working on providing more flexibility to the info you view from Job Manager.

    Right now, we're developing columns for Staff, Manager and Partners. Around the same time we expect to deliver these additions, we'll also enable you to hide detail you'd prefer not to view. So, you can decide and only see the information relevant for you when viewing Jobs.

    We'll return to share more when this is available🙂

  2. In XPM, there is a subtotal of all the amounts of each task in the fixed price column. It would be handy to show a subtotal of all amounts for each task in the calculated column. This would allow you to see, at a glance, the write up/down for the invoice.

  3. Only one contact in XPM can be a 'Primary' contact so our correspondence pulls through only the salutation for that contact, however the entity may be a partnership, trust or company and need more than one person included. This means we need to manually add any other salutations, which is not ideal and leaves room for error. The option to add multiple 'Primary' contacts would solve this issue.

Would be great for team members to be able to enter timesheet credits for flexitime hours over their standard daily hours, without having to enable the Financial privileges option in Staff settings (as this then provides visibility to all timesheets, ability to lock/unlock timesheets, ability to enter time for other team members, along with various practice financial report features etc).

  7. When accessing the Work In Progress from a client screen the column showing the job name is nowhere near wide enough to see the full description. The box in the centre containing all columns could also be made wider to fill the whole screen. See attached screenshot.

  8. Ability to become an affiliate if not a BAS agent or tax agent.

    I am a chartered accountant with a finance coaching and Virtual CFO company but I am not a BAS or tax agent. I use Xero, train clients on Xero and recommend Xero to all of my clients and would recommend there was an affiliate scheme without having to be a BAS or tax agent.

    Hi Lucy, to make sure I understand your idea here. When you say an affiliate would that be an affiliate to make use of AU Tax as a product or more broadly the Partner Program that Xero has for Practice users ? 

  9. Please incorporate myxero into practice manager. at the moment there are MyXero, XeroHQ, XPM and XeroBlue all have different but similar settings, which makes thing very confusing.

  10. The ability to post be posted from Xero to XPM based on the invoice line rather than per invoice.
    We have a monthly fee that goes out to clients from Xero that has two invoice lines, one being the consulting fee and the second being a software subscription fee. We would love the consulting fee line to post to the "Ad Hoc" job and then have the subscription line go to a new job called "software recovery".

  11. Using notifications are a great way to communicate on a job and keeping the history of the same. One frustration I have is when a new note is created I get a notification to tell me a new note has been added but I do not know what the subject of the new notification is from my on screen notification. This can be a problem as some notifications take only a few moments of my time whilst others require me to set aside a substantial amount of time, but I cant tell which it is from the on screen notification.…

  12. Now that the Trust requirements have changed, is it possible to update the Client Relationships report. Accountants now have to provide the DOB and IRD numbers for the Trustees, Settlors and Beneficiaries. Currently, if I add the [client] tax number field and the [client] Date of Birth field, I get these fields for the original trust only, I need to get the [client relationship] tax number and DOB please.

    Create/ generate a single Tax Return Report on industry codes which includes: SMSF, Individuals, Sole Traders, Partnerships, Trusts etc.

    Currently we can only create separate reports for:

  15. Xero should be able to offer billing in other currencies as currently they are unable to bill Xero Practice Manager in SGD.

    I was advised by Xero support, that this is because they are part of their Global billing in Practice Manager, so it will automatically be billed in USD.

    However, their Xero Accounting invoices are billed in Singapore Dollars, so not too sure why similar principles don't apply?

  18. Run a report that will show all notes added by a client.

    E.g
    - Client A reviews their xero, and realises the cost centre is incorrect and adds a note (not the description)
    - Manager is reviewing the bookkeeping and wants the bookkeeper to reallocate items and attaches notes to the reports.

    These notes cant currently be ran on a single report.

Previously, there was a list online which showed all the data fields and which reports contained which fields, which made it really easy to build customised reports that held all the fields I needed, or allowed me to confirm that I needed to combine two separate reports. That list has disappeared.
    Can you please release an updated list of data fields for the report builder for XPM so that it's easy to identify which fields belong in which report?

  20. The ability to hide a Job State (eg Completed) from the quick edit selection and within editing a job, from select users would be great.
    Eliminating the possibility for a user to incorrectly move an open job to a state that should only be closed by the Admin Team.
