  1. We, as a tax agent, would find it extremely useful if we could set a default payment letter template for each client - maybe have a selection option on the client page. Then when we send out bulk payment letters we know they are going to receive the correct details each time.

  2. It would be great if the equity workpaper allowed for current year P&L reserve. This allows you to double check once the dividends are posted that the Equity section is not negative.

  3. Regarding the newly added "Other Name" for individuals and sole traders the following:
    Please add this field as a column on the screen that lists all the clients.
    The reason why we are urgently asking for this is that we only use Initials + Last Names in the display name (as this works better on reports and invoices) and we have multiple individuals with the same last name (even with the same initials). If the "other name" is shown on this screen, it would make it so much easier to select the correct client to work with.

  4. When running a report from My Reports it opens first on the Report Designer page allowing you to check/change the parameters, rather than having to revert to the Report Builder and Custom Reports to do so.

  5. Timesheet. Be great if you could see a visual (graph) of your daily timesheet rather than just the time 24 hr posted list. Then you could get a visual of how long and for what hours you spent on each job, eg 8am to 9am job A, 9am to 11am job B, how long you didnt work eg lunch and it would be heaps easier to see if you had made any errors in submission of time. Even though there is the time summary graph which shows hours worked, it doesn't help troubleshoot if you think your time not correct…

  6. In "Tax" tab, at the moment if youlook up a return in "draft" then go back you are automatically taken back to "All Returns" - if you were able to stay in the same heading that would save time rather having All Returns as default

    Currently, in XPM it's only possible to customise a cover page of a tax return. However, it's not possible to customise the actual return including the last page.
    We'd like to be able to customise the last page to enable an anchor phrase to be entered to assist preparing templates for DocuSign automated signing platform.

    Thanks for the detail in your response, Stacey and I'd highly recommend sharing the link to the idea here with others in your business that'd find this useful to help us get a better sense of the overall interest. 

    Being open while appreciate the ease this would create for individual users, building customisation at this level would be quite complex. Not something we have plans for at present but we'll get a sense of the interest here. 🙂


  9. Hi can you please add in a function to the adviser reports that allows the users to enter in dynamic ranges, such as current date but can also be extended to other fields. As I do not want to be pulling in a new template each time this error occurs, I would like to just amend the pages by inserting the new date reference.

  10. When the report is extracted through Report Builder, the value for Title field is always under Uppercase even though it's Proper case when we first select the option on the client section.

    This is causing unnecessary extra work for us to fix it manually every time we run the report.

    The report should show the same value as how it's entered.

  11. When using the conversion toolbox import template to upload invoices and bills into Xero, it does not give me the option to map the Reference to the correct field. Instead, I have to go into each one afterwards and edit it to include the reference.

    There is a column in the import sheet for a Reference so I'm not sure why it won't map it to the correct field. It would be great if this could be fixed to cut down all the manual work we would have to do after uploading the invoices.

  12. The ability to deal with purchase commission on a sales invoice
    If you sell goods at an auction they will send you a sales invoice for the transaction with the bottom line being the net value (Sale of goods less any commission and vat payable to them). It would be helpful if Hubdoc could deal with this all in one transaction.

  15. I not taking the payroll service. However, I submit the employee claim through expense claim. Under contact, hope it can flow to the employee, instead of suppliers?
