  2. when we have a report that we would want to specify the type of return e.g. ir3, ir4 there does not seem to be the IR4J specifically for when we file a IR4J on its own for members apart of a consolidated group and only require to file their own imputation return.

    It would be great if this could be included as this helps when reporting our internal filing stats.

  4. For large farms/orchards or multiple businesses in the group, needing a P & L each for each Farm and Orchard. Then a combined statement P & L bringing all the totals together with the group overhead expenses. Currently have to do separate custom reports in Xero then paste in, would be good to have it all formated in one spot not doing multiple reports and copying and pasting. Currently using another accounting software provider to do the financials and only using Xero to collect the date, would be good to have it all in one spot

  5. And before someone tries to tell me XPM is a premium product and that's why it has additional functions like search 🥴 search is not a premium feature. We just want to be able to search for a client without changing from Returns to Clients page.

  7. We would like to be able to do a list of Employee at the end of year with total earnings, PAYE, Employer and Employee Kiwisaver etc.

    You can list now but it lists every date and you then need to drop out to Excel and do all the additionals. Very time consuming if you have a number of employees.

    As you've found, the Annual Earnings Certificate displays the information required, but splits each employee in to a seperate page.


    I've updated your title to reflect that you'd like this report in a list format, and shifted it back to 'submitted' so we can keep collecting votes and feedback.

  10. Xero Practice Manager -

    There is a report in XPM, Client Revenue Report, this is great for end of year reporting by client. Unfortunately there is no opportunity to select a comparative. Can we please have the ability to run this report in the same manner as the Income by Contact report in Xero Blue. Thanks.

  15. When we link XPM to Xero, we have to set up a code for Income. This is set to a default code (200 Sales) however we also use codes to differentiate income between Company Accounts, Personal Tax Returns, VAT work etc. Would it be possible to add something that allows us to select the code per job? Or alternatively to allow adding of tracking categories?

    Thanks for the idea and support here, all. We appreciate the valuable feedback on this idea. While we understand that the ability to easily add employees to the + menu would be beneficial to your workflows, we don't have direct plans for making this change within the create new menu in the foreseeable future.

    We appreciate this is not the news you’d like around this but we do want to be upfront with you here to help you make the best decisions as needed for your businesses.

  17. Currently the only way to view form fields for Xero Blue invoicing and email templates is in the editor, without an in-depth explanation as to what field actually does. More detail into which field does what would be appreciated, as some are a bit confusing just based off the name.

    Thanks for sharing in the community here, Evangeline. Although not in the template itself, as Ethan shared earlier our Xero Central article outlines and provides description of the merge fields that are available and what these relate to.

    Being open, we don't have intentions of surfacing this directly inside Xero, however we have integrated our content from Xero Central with the help menu in the product and you should be able to look up and find this sort of detail from relevant pages in the product (such as Invoice Settings). Depending what you type, Xero maybe also able to generate an answer for you to save you even having to click through to the content 😊
