  2. Client access to Report Templates
    In Xero HQ as a partner we have the ability to create report packages however it is only for use within our practice, it would be really helpful if we had the option to share these with our clients.

  4. I essentially would like a feature where we can invite clients with discuss only access or for the ability to discuss to be added to read only access.

    Where we have clients and we act as there bookkeepers there are instances where clients occasionally code transactions in the books which ultimately need to be reversed.. For these clients ideally they should provide us the info to enter as we are spending more time correcting incorrect transactions.

    We have moved to using Xero discuss over statement lines as are primary means of communicating with clients which seams to be great but…

  5. We are getting an increasing amount of (sometimes angry) pushback from clients where when we add Administrators to our HQ account, they are automatically given full permissions over any linked client Xero files, as well as all our ledger files. We are a large firm with over 15 Administrators.
    Please give us the ability to CHOOSE, if we want to add all administrators to all files.
    OR
    Create an administrator role that doesnt need to add them as a USER to each client file.

    Imagine you have a Xero file for your own personal business, and suddenly notice 13 people…

  7. Why is Xero Analytics and Analytics Plus not available for Xero partners within Xero HQ? Is this currently in consideration because it would be extremely useful to promote to existing clients who are currently using other BI tools that have no API connectivity with Xero and making the financial analysis process much more complex than it should be?

Need to be able to better identify restricted / confidential clients and have controls in place to not give all staff access to these Xero blue files - currently we need to use manual methods (e.g. add "Restricted" in the client name, and add them to a "Restricted" client group), but this is highly prone to human error, and requires extra steps.

    Further, the new Single Client Record function will prevent us from adding "restricted" to the client record name.

    This function will need to incorporate the ability to filter out these confidential client ledgers when giving new staff access.

  9. We would like to suggest an enhancement to the Xero payroll software that could significantly improve its functionality for our company.

    Currently, Xero offers download options for various pension providers, but we've noticed that True Potential is not among them.

    We propose the addition of a CSV download option specifically for the True Potential pension provider.

    Given that Xero already possesses the necessary data, incorporating this feature would eliminate the need for manual data entry and formatting, reducing the risk of errors and saving valuable time.

  10. It would be useful to have the ability to mark a document pack as complete even if some of the signatures are missing.

    We have had occasions where trustees refuse to sign via document packs after the clients have already signed. We then have to print the partially signed documents and send hard copies for trustees to sign.

    This leaves the document pack incomplete. The only option available is to cancel the pack, not ideal The ability to mark the pack as complete would be a great addition.

  11. It would be great if there was an option to change staff permissions in bulk. So if there was a practice employee for example who now needed Payroll Admin access for 20 clients, it could be done in a few clicks as opposed to changing it for each of those 20 clients.

  12. With Xero Ask queries you specify a due date but if the query is not replied to there is no reminder sent to the client once the date has passed.

    Can we please have reminders automatically sent, much in the same way invoice reminders are sent.

  13. Set the demo company as the first company seen on log-in, or be able to set which one you want to see.

    I often use my laptop when speaking with clients and for a split second after logging-in I am on another clients business dashboard until I can grab the mouse and change it to their business. I don't think this is good business practice.

  15. Export/Import Xero Network Keys for clients (from Xero HQ) in order to be able to import into company Xero.

    So that our invoices can also be sent directly to the clients Xero, so saves time on bookkeeping.

  17. Is there an easy way to create/run reports tailored specifically for charities or is it just me that I am finding it difficult to find ? I've got the charity set up as a non-for-profit organisation which doesn't seem to make much difference at all.
    It's disappointed to see Xero doesn't have any reports templates for charities.
    Executive report cannot be overtype as needed - It's not possible to change "Profit (Loss)" line within profitability to Surplus/Deficit.

    Regarding Current Year Earnings, it isn't currently possible to rename this to current year funds, or to code manual journals from this to…

    Hi community, thanks for your support and sharing in the idea here. Diving into your comments, there are a few different ideas that we're picking up on within this one thread;

    1. ability to change the email address/contact of a sent pack
    2. ability to add additional documents to a sent pack, and
    3. the ability to edit metadata of a sent pack

    For the first, we'd like to better understand what is driving the need to change the email address?  is it down to a typo when entering it? or if its on a tax return, is it wrong on the client record etc?

    Although it's not possible to add additional documents to a pack right now, creating and sending a new document pack is essentially the same - Is there any reason this isn't suitable?

    Lastly, it'd be good to get more substance of how the ability to rename a pack…
