Improving XPM Workflow Capabilites with Seperate & Specific Job States & Automation Triggers
Seperate set of state for different job templates/workflows. XPM currently only has one set of job states. there should be the ability to have multiple for different jobs. These states should also be able to be transferred into a kanban board view and when the job state is changed either by drag & drop or dropdown certain automated actions should be triggered such as automated emails or deploying client or internal forms to be completed etc. At the moment the XPM's workflow capabiliteis are extremely limited.2 votes
Be able to tag and bulk prepare/lodge client update reports at the end of the year to remove clients from our tax agent list.4 votes

Many of the to-do items under tasks aren't useful or applicable to us. We would love the ability to add meaningful to-do items to our tasks as a default, not on a job by job basis.2 votes
Currently all Xero advisor certifications expire in December which is a really busy time for accountants in the UK and it's nearly impossible to get everyone to recertify at this time.
I think it would be welcomed by all accountants if this could be moved to our quieter season in February/March and I think as a result a lot more people would recertify.1 vote

In a shareholders' resolution template e.g., to appoint new directors you currently cannot get rid of the line that says "For the month ended 30 September 2022" or "For the year ended 31 March 2022". I actually want to eliminate that entire line as the date is at the bottom with the signatures or at least have the ability to only have one day at the top of the report.1 vote
Able to create recurring tasks from an existing task.
Purpose: It’s easier to just create a recurring job from an existing job, rather than creating a new job.23 votes
When the report is extracted through Report Builder, the value for Title field is always under Uppercase even though it's Proper case when we first select the option on the client section.
This is causing unnecessary extra work for us to fix it manually every time we run the report.
The report should show the same value as how it's entered.1 vote
When using the conversion toolbox import template to upload invoices and bills into Xero, it does not give me the option to map the Reference to the correct field. Instead, I have to go into each one afterwards and edit it to include the reference.
There is a column in the import sheet for a Reference so I'm not sure why it won't map it to the correct field. It would be great if this could be fixed to cut down all the manual work we would have to do after uploading the invoices.1 vote
I would like if when setting up clients. Under the "Business" tab, instead of industry being so limited, for it to replicate Companies House & use the SIC codes.4 votes
Allow for rules to be placed on what to do when data is missing or unable to be grabbed. Ideally for these to be linked by which supplier the order is from or even setting global rules
-Setting a default Global Due by date when missing
-Setting a specific stock line(s) to apply stock to by supplier
-Setting not to overwrite cost price with default cost price in system.4 votes
Xero to automatically log the time you spend in each client and summarise monthly/ average 12 monthly.
No stop/start. 10 minute auto logout.
Advantages: no additional work for the user

In Retail KPI's are important so on a month by month report we would include the
GP % on Liquor sales
GP% on Food Sales
At present it comes out just as a number '61'

The ability to deal with purchase commission on a sales invoice
If you sell goods at an auction they will send you a sales invoice for the transaction with the bottom line being the net value (Sale of goods less any commission and vat payable to them). It would be helpful if Hubdoc could deal with this all in one transaction.1 vote
Currently the only way to view form fields for Xero Blue invoicing and email templates is in the editor, without an in-depth explanation as to what field actually does. More detail into which field does what would be appreciated, as some are a bit confusing just based off the name.1 vote
