    1/ For ACTIVITY STATEMENTS - xero already retrieves the bpay details. Can Xero retrieve the Auspost billpay details, and ATO PRN details for credit card payment too to be printed/esign emailed when generating the Activity statement?

    2/ For Income tax returns - for entities that have a payable result, can Xero retrieve the bpay, post billpay, and PRN details that can be printed/esign emailed along with the tax return?

    3/ and for ITR, can Xero retrieve the bpay, post billpay, and PRN details so that it can be sent along with the OoA email/print out?

  2. Have Xero automatically set the flat rate percentage to claim the 1% discount for the first year of registration. This would save time and human error is having to make a manual adjustment.

  3. Financial Cents has created the best practice manager I have found and would like to integrate with Xero but is not receiving much cooperation. I and several other Xero users would appreciate the integration.

  4. We have been trying to match up a self assessment refund we have received for a client but can't find the matching amount.

    Would be possible to say add an extra line onto the dashboard which shows that year's tax return amount to be paid or refunded.

  6. Previously, there was a list online which showed all the data fields and which reports contained which fields, which made it really easy to build customised reports that held all the fields I needed, or allowed me to confirm that I needed to combine two separate reports. That list has disappeared.
    Can you please release an updated list of data fields for the report builder for XPM so that it's easy to identify which fields belong in which report?

  7. Opportunity to provide explanations for significant changes in balances (specifically profit and loss items):

    • It would be useful if the PNL review section of Xero Workpapers had an area to incorporate commentary on significant variances or that a balance is not material and therefore no further work on the balance has been performed.
    • This would add value in that you won't have to upload separate documents for each profit and loss line item

    Hi everyone, thanks for your interests in the SA900 through this idea.

    We understand how returns for Trusts would be beneficial in Xero Tax (UK). This isn't in our immediate roadmap, but we're keen to continue tracking the interest for this from community through the idea. If any progress is made we'll share an update for you all here.

  10. Could you please add a shortcut for the balance date in the journal section, so the accountant doesn't have to keep typing '31/3/202x' multiple times at year-end?

  13. The dividends are not sorted alphabetically in the return, although they are sorted in the prefill. Can we have the ability to sort fields included in the individual tax return worksheets, such as Item 11 Dividends, Item D5 Other work Expenses, and other similar fields.
    This will make it easier to check and compare, and it looks much more professional.

  14. Have a separate tick box to include/exclude the detailed disclosure (separate from other schedules).

    We would like to be able to print schedules where required but not show all of the detail for the asset and liabilities disclosure. Allow us to select which schedules get printed with the tax return, rather than the all or nothing approach.

  15. Currently if a tax letter email fails to send, for whatever reason, there is no email notification it failed to send. The system really needs to be enhanced so the person who sent the tax letter from XPM gets an email notification that the tax letter failed to send to that email address. Currently it is just blind faith that all letters are sent which is clearly not good.

    Our team is looking into this idea, however, they don't have any dates planned on when they’ll develop a notification to let you know whether a tax letter has failed to send. We understand that this feature is important so that you can be certain your clients have received their tax payment reminder letters.

    We are monitoring your feedback and votes here, so please keep adding them in this thread. For the time being, I’ll move this idea into ‘Under review’ status, and if there's any movement, we'll make sure to come back and update you here.

  17. I would like to have hubdoc periodically log in to our supplier's account( Fedex, Amazon, Upwork, UPS etc) and fetch the invoices automatically.

    Dext Prepare already does that so I can see Xero loosing thousands of dollars by relying on third party software. I guess let's start with the most popular suppliers and take it from there. This can be an add on to Hubdoc for a bit extra and happy to pay as long as it is comparable in price to other software packages. That would greatly automated our accounts.

  18. Xero gave us a tax estimate for deceased estates (but only within the first three years...), and on my very first trial of this new feature ran into a roadblock - I cannot find anywhere to input the PAYG Instalments paid by the deceased estate, therefore the estimate is inaccurate.

  19. Sync all data to Xero HQ.

    We have been moved over to single client record and need notes and custom fields to be synced as well please.

    This would prevent the need to manually update client records and prevent risk of out of date data.

    Thanks for contributing to this idea, everyone. As part of the single client record we've recently made a change so now when you record a client note in Xero HQ or Xero Practice Manager each system are now reflected in the other.

    We appreciate there is a second part of the idea here surrounding custom fields. Custom fields are being developed with current work the team have underway, and eventually you'll be able to see custom fields reflected in both systems (Xero HQ and XPM), too. We'll keep you updated of further news for this here. 

  20. AU Tax - create custom suspend reason - This would be great to use for reporting purposes when a tax return is placed on hold (or suspended).
