  1. Ability to run an Aged Debtors Report of what debts clients owed us at a certain date in XPM. For example, we want to see what our clients owed us at 30/06/25, however the Standard Report (Aged Balance Report) can't be run to a certain date and if we create our own Report in Report Builder it removes clients from the report if they have paid since 01/07/25 and now owe nothing. We need these figures to do clients Financials and also for our own Practice reporting. We can run it in Xero Blue however we don't have the ability…

  2. NZ Tax Audit Check of Overseas Income Jurisdiction Codes needs corrected to identify invalid country code UK and bring up a red error message. The correct code for the United Kingdom is GB not UK, the audit check should pick this up at the audit check stage which it currently does not. Thus when we go to file the return the return goes in to error as the jurisdiction code is invalid.

  4. Place of birth, like Director ID, is a field that is important for any individual clients who are company officeholders. Rather than having to keep this record in an external software, ideally we would have all the information about a client in one place, and as such, would appreciate a "PLACE OF BIRTH" field somewhere in the client record to facilitate this.

  7. Be able to export list of archived clients, especially if they still have xero subscription that was missed to cancel. So that these can be easily reviewed.

    We are paying Xero for no reason at all.

    Also the ability to bulk change those archived clients eg cancel subscriptions

    Perhaps when clients are archived there should be something to flag to remember to do something with the subscription eg cancel or transfer.

  8. Hubdoc. Options to post to Xero are Purchase, Spend money, Invoice (AP) and credit note.
    Can we have a received money option as well please so that I can enter say bar takings from an end of day till report straight to the Tills cash reconciliation report.?

    Thanks for all your engagement on this idea. We understand that the option to post receive money transactions from Hubdoc is important to all who've supported this, however we want to be transparent that this isn't a feature we're currently working on.

  13. Expenses and Projects - We have received some complaints about the functionality of these apps from our clients. In order for us to be able to assist our clients, it would be useful if:

    1. There was a way to see what the app looks like from a users point of view. e.g. a demo version of the app.

    2. If xero showed clearly which expenses had been reconciled to the bank to avoid double ups.

    3. If you could sort expenses by date/contact/amount under the 'ALL' tab.

  14. When reviewing WIP for a client you can't see the title of each job without clicking in to it. Could we please make the job column wider so we can see what the job is without opening it.

    We're working on modernising the client record user interface(UI) and your idea here is being worked into this change.

    We'll first be making this available to our UK practices, with the aim of eventually expanding this to all regions. I'll be back to confirm as this starts to roll and give more detail of the change.

  15. On the old Xero HQ staff page, you could click on the staff member, add clients, and then filter to client groups.

    With the new Xero HQ Staff page layout, this ability has been lost and it's vital for adding clients in bulk to particular office groups, particularly for our new starters.

    Hi Doina, as mentioned in my recent update here. I've split your idea into two, so we can gain understanding of the support in each separately.

    It'll be good to get a gauge of community interest for a Detailed Profit & Loss in the Statutory accounts for Micro Entities within Xero Tax(UK), through this idea.

    This isn't something we have road mapped atm, but we'll share if there are any updates.

  17. When Settlor relationship exists for a client, this needs to flow through automatically to the IR6 in the same way that Beneficiary relationships do.

  18. I'm completing my first Trust ITR for 2024, and inputting info into the new Trust Income Schedule.

    The Non-PP income flows through to Item 8, but the Capital Gain isn't flowing through to Item 21...

    WHY do you insist on SO MUCH double entry??!?

    It's not even throwing an error, like the 'Managed Fund' schedule does in an Individual ITR??

    Appreciate the conversations here. The other idea linked in this conversation that we delivered on was for the ability for information to flow from the Trust Return(TRT) to Individual Returns(ITR) which is facilitated with the Trust Income Schedule,

    This is slightly different in that you're wanting information from the CGT worksheet to flow through to a TRT.

    Right now non ITR's will need to create a CGT worksheet after the Trust Income Schedule, we appreciate wanting to see further improvement in this space for non ITR's to create a CGT event in a worksheet. It's something we looking to implement in the future but don't have a timeframe on atm. I'll let you know here if there are any changes. Thanks

  19. XPM - add the facility for one invoice to be raised for mulitple customers.

  20. Since the XPM update (April 2025) milestones in XPM are now at the bottom of jobs. They should be at the top of the job (as they were previously) so that they are one of the first things we see on a job. We use milestones to remind us of important filing dates so relegating this to the bottom of jobs requires too much scrolling and is very frustrating.
