  1. A report function where we can generate a detailed Profit and Loss and Balance Sheet report in one click. It's very manual on the current set up where we generate this from Account Transaction Report. This will help us to generate a more accurate report and make our job much easier.

  2. Hi,

    It would be nice if the software could search by a entity's registered business names or previously know entity names and it bring up the current company file.

    We are able to add previous names or business names to the custom fields under a company's profile, but unless you know all the names by memory it can be hard to match up clients when you receive correspondence address to the business name and no ABN is mentioned.

    Currently when this occurs we have to either search ABN lookup or ASIC register and trying to get relevant information we can…

  3. It would be good if document packs that are complete can be ticked so staff can note that the completed document pack has been dealt with ie financial statements etc downloaded. Then we can see what completed document packs still need to be sorted out on our admin end.

  4. Create a Registered Office field in the contact details so that for client companies, we can have a quick view of physical/business, postal and registered office details. Currently, we have had to create a custom field, which you have to scroll down to the bottom of the page to view.

  5. Would be great to have the ability in XPM tax to identify if the client has a payment arrangement with IR. If there is somewhere in tax we can enter this information and this gets flagged when approving the tax payment letter, not to send the letter if the tax year is under arrangement.

  6. XPM - Lock timesheets when a draft final invoice has been prepared.
    We are having issues with staff adding time to a job when there is a draft Final invoice that has been created. Then the invoice is approved and the added WIP does not get picked up and sits on the now completed job for us to stumble over months later. It makes sense to lock the timesheets when a Final invoice has been drafted.

  7. Would like the ability to see Write-ons / Write-offs on the Invoices dashboard for Draft invoices to allow easier review of drafts.

    Alternatively some form of reporting that takes draft invoices into account vs billable time to see 'draft write-ons/offs'.

  9. It would be very helpful to have a function available to search for a client under their business name. We have a lot of clients who are sole traders that have a registered business name and it would be good to see all this in XPM and be able to search for the business name to enter the client profile.

  10. Please add the functionality to set a cessation of trade date for a company in liquidation or in the insolvency process to allow for accounts and corporation tax returns to be produced from the last year end to the date of cessation of trade/insolvency.

    This will enable Accountants to produce these closing accounts and CT returns from HMRC and so offer a one stop shop and earn more revenue.

  11. I had a validation error CMN.ATO.DISTBENTRT.000013 generated in an SMSF tax return.
    When I clicked on the validation error it took me to a specific trust income schedule (number 10 of 18), which had several fields highlighted. The error says that there must be a number in any of the fields A B D U and so on - this schedule met this condition.
    After much wasted time trying to re-enter fields, checking there were no blank spaces, deleting and re-entering all fields, deleting and re-entering the whole schedule, I contacted support.
    It turns out the error was actually generated…

  12. NZ Tax - Can we get the ability to create a future period tax return using the current years format. We would still need to submit the return manually through the IRD. It would be much simpler to create a draft in Xero instead of using the PDF versions from the IRD.

  16. It would be good to be able to run a report of all Xero clients that have unfiled STP, or be able to view at a glance on XeroHQ. This would assist in making sure clients are meeting their compliance obligations quickly rather than go into every client to look at the Payroll Overview.

  17. We need the ability to issue a cheque and track cheque numbers in currency that is not the home currency. Example CAD is home currency. We have a USD bank account and issue cheques on that USD account but we are unable to confirm the cheques have been issued in sequence as there is no log. We are also unable to issue a cheque from that account.

  18. Some banks require the ABN or ACN to be present on all pages of the Financial Reports supplied to them. Currently, the only way to do this is to export the report to Excel and then painstakingly type the ABN/ACN in to every single page.

    There should be an option to toggle this on/off. Alternatively a field type that pulls the ABN from the company file would be suffice to add to the report template.

    Please see attached an example on the footer of a report page.

  19. Currently when producing and filing (lodging) a CURNN is does not display the Financial Year it relates to. It would be very helpful to have the FY displayed so it is easily identifiable. The same as all the other Tax Returns.

  20. We now have a single client record with HQ & XPM but it still does not pull through the client partner & manager from XPM and allow us to filter this way.

    We would find this feature very helpful when bulk updating client access for our team members when they start or depart.

    We also need to be able to export reports from HQ on the filters we apply. Currently even if a filter is applied the export includes all clients and columns and not what is in the filter display.
