This is horrible!!!!
This homepage is horrible!!! Please keep the old version. Nothing is clear on the dashboard and nothing makes sense. Xero's is great because of it's user-friendly interface. This dashboard is not user-friendly at all.

Homepage - Inventory widget that shows when stock is low
Have the graph for the home screen with the inventory stock and flagging items with low stock.

A less cluttered homepage that was truly customisable would be great
I need to see a number of bank accounts and other widgets but not all 10-12 things at once. The 'old' homepage allowed me to have what i needed there, but the vertical layout allowed me to scroll back and forth to see what i needed to at one time.

New Homepage: Allow custom reports to be displayed as a tile / widget
We have defined our own custom Income Statement. It would be nice to display this on the homepage - as well as on the mobile app home screen....

Widget or badge to show if there have been new files uploaded by the client or colleagues since your last logon.

New Homepage: Net Profit or Loss Widget, needs to have a "This financial Year" option
New Homepage - Profit and Loss Widget - needs to have a "This financial year" option as we want to see current, not history. Current is the important one when keeping on track with finances, not what happened last year.

Bank Transactions - Page number and Next/Previous Options on the top of the page
While on bank reconciliation page or on bank transactions page, we can see number of pages and also there is next and previous page option but these options only appear at the bottom of the page, it would be good to see these option on the top of the page as well.

It seems strange to have the draft invoices/ bills down the bottom and not in an obvious position on the widget. Overdue invoices and bills are somewhat inconsequential. It is more important from a business perspective to be able to see Awaiting Payment and Draft invoices/ bills right next to each other so that you can quickly add them together to see where you are at and have overdue down the bottom of the widget.2 votesThanks for submitting your idea on Xero Product Ideas. Home page Improvements
I wanted to share some thoughts on the latest Xero homepage redesign after seeing a comment that really resonated with me about how much space the widgets are now taking up and how much more cluttered it is now. From a web design point of view, it’s just not intuitive, it’s cluttered and feels way too full, especially compared to the previous version where the widgets sat nicely in the centre and only took up maybe 50% of the page.
I genuinely believe the homepage experience could be dramatically improved with just a few changes:

Business Owners or Administrator should be able to reset 2 factor Authenticator from within the User settings.
The Officer Administrator or Senior Manager of HR should be able to reset the 2 step Authenticator process when employee loses their phone or device with the authenticator installed on it.

Homepage is not displaying all bank accounts.
We also have approximately 80 banks accounts but only 50 of them are displaying on the homepage. I can see that the new version only allows up to 50 accounts to be shown at one time. This means you have to go to a different screen to locate the missing accounts that need to be reconciled. This is not ideal.

Get to a specific Widget instantly
Allow Widgets to be ordered into Columns.
My preference as below; but at least then everyone knows where to find a specific Widget - not in some random pool like it is now.
Column1 = Bank accounts;
Column2 = Tasks, invoices to chase, bills to pay;
Column3 = Business Performance.

This will avoid missing staff holiday requests.
Hi, on the new dashboard, I don't get or can't see an option for staff leave/holiday requests. It doesn't come up on the task lists either. I feel this might be an oversight, but this could easily be missed.

Visual differentiation will be easier to view
The bank accounts and widgets feel very uniform. At a glance, it’s hard to differentiate between them. Adding color-coding or other visual cues would make it much easier to quickly identify and navigate key information.

Widgets for Invoices Owed to You - viewed as a list, and Quotes - viewed as a list
I like the new homepage, but it appears really odd to me that there are not 2 additional widgets available; 1/ Invoices Owed to You - viewed as a list similar to invoices paid, 2/ Quotes - again viewed as a list. From a chasing "who owes you money" and "chasing sales" these two widgets would be really useful to me in the dashboard, as these are the things I focus on the most. Knowing someone has paid is not as important as who hasn't paid.... Similar for quotes outstanding

colour on dashboard tiles
Add background colour to dashboard tiles so each account can be seen differently and easily. v useful when managing multiple accounts.

A simple quality of life improvement to any spreadsheet/ report
Currently, It prints TITLE, COMPANY, DATE/ PERIOD. Please can you add to DATE/ PERIOD 'as @ TIME OF PUBLISH'. This would solve issues where I am looking at two identical spreadsheets but am unable to tell which is up to date.
