Good to hear the value you'd see in having more visibility of GST from your homepage. Thanks for sharing with us here.

To add to this, as well as just GST, perhaps a widget allowing you to add/toggle the various liability accounts that contribute to total BAS debt (eg PAYG Withholding, GST etc) or a widget that draws in the total figure from the current period activity statement in draft form and links to that activity statement for review.
